Colossians 3:16 | NKJV “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs with thankfulness in your heart to God.”

The foundation of every child of God is the Word and the Spirit. In this short series, we’d look at the word of God as our foundation. No other better foundation can be laid. It’s a more reliable verification of the elementary teachings about the person and life of Christ.

For every Spirit-filled and Spirit-led child of God, the Holy Spirit would always refer you to the scriptures. He brings us a revelation of Jesus. (John 16:14) There can be no fruitful walk in Christ without His word.

How grounded are you in the scriptures? Does the word of Christ dwell in you richly or sparsely? There isn’t much you can do if your foundation isn’t in place. You’ll be prone to error, mysticism, and you’ll eventually fall apart. Receive fresh hunger for the word! And I challenge you today by the Spirit to exercise yourself unto godliness. Set a goal and embark on a bible-reading challenge. Bliss. 
