If you’re expecting a trouble free life in h5his world, then you’re setting up yourself for a miserable life; because God didn’t promise that.

But He did promise that when you go through those stormy and trouble phases of life, you’ll not be defeated, disgraced, or out to shame. He promised that you’ll prevail. He promised that you’ll come out on top. He promised that you’ll come out better and more blessed than ever!

John 16:33 NIV
“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”

So He tells you to be of good cheer, and not let your heart be troubled.

Don’t be afraid. Your God has it all under control. Before ever that trouble showed up, before ever those enemies made their move, He had already set you up for victory.

And today He asks you to trust Him. Let Him handle it. Let Him defend you. Let Him vindicate you. Let Him fight for you. Your own part is to trust Him and remain in Him.

Let not your heart be troubled, discouraged, fearful or anxious. Be of good cheer. You are more than a conqueror. You will come through this; far more favoured than you’ve ever been.
