ISAIAH‬ ‭44:3‬ ‭NIV | “FOR I WILL POUR WATER ON THE THIRSTY LAND, AND STREAMS ON THE DRY GROUND; I WILL POUR OUT MY SPIRIT ON YOUR OFFSPRING, AND MY BLESSING ON YOUR DESCENDANTS.”

You have been in your fallow season where God has been building and fine-tuning you. So, get set for His glory which has been built up in you to be revealed.

The definition of fallow is inactive. If a piece of land normally used for farming is left with no crops on it for a season so it can recover its fertility and vitality, it is classed as being on fallow.

Fallow season is a time of recovery, refreshing, rejuvenation, which is necessary to receive power for your next level. It is during fallow that strong character is built which is very essential to sustain the glorious new phase God is taking you to. It is usually a quiet, seemingly inactive time but one in which a lot goes on behind the scenes to make you a strong person with formidable character.

During your fallow season, you learn to be a blessing because to whom much is given, much is expected. The huge amount of blessings, favours and prosperity coming your way demands a large heart of love and compassion towards others so you can constantly offer help and lift others up.

EXODUS‬ ‭23:10-11‬ ‭NLT‬‬ | “PLANT AND HARVEST YOUR CROPS FOR SIX YEARS, BUT LET THE LAND BE RENEWED AND LIE UNCULTIVATED DURING THE SEVENTH YEAR. THEN LET THE POOR AMONG YOU HARVEST WHATEVER GROWS ON ITS OWN. LEAVE THE REST FOR WILD ANIMALS TO EAT. THE SAME APPLIES TO YOUR VINEYARDS AND OLIVE GROVES.”

So, don’t be in a hurry to leave your fallow season because your substance is growing exponentially. Your worth is increasing by virtue of you being purified in the fire like gold. Instead, focus on your relationship with the Holy Spirit and He will release the necessary times of refreshing to power you through your fallow season.

HOSEA‬ ‭10:12‬ ‭KJV‬‬ | “SOW TO YOURSELVES IN RIGHTEOUSNESS, REAP IN MERCY; BREAK UP YOUR FALLOW GROUND: FOR IT IS TIME TO SEEK THE LORD, TILL HE COME AND RAIN RIGHTEOUSNESS UPON YOU.”
