A fantasy is an illusion. A mirage. It looks real, but it’s not. And when you chase after it, you end up in poverty and misery.
BIBLE STUDY | Proverbs 28:19 NLT | “A hard worker has plenty of food, but a person who chases fantasies ends up in poverty.”
He says he loves you and will marry you. All lies. Fantasy courtship.
He promised to send you a huge some of money. Mirage. Fantasy money.
He said he’ll get you that job, contract, or business opportunity. Illusions. Fantasy opportunities.
The problem with a fantasy is that it looks so real. Sometimes, so convincingly real. This is a problem because it acts like a magic spell and hoodwinks you.
Then it steals your time as you go round and round in circles, wasting precious time chasing after it.
So, today, I’ll ask my God for three things on your behalf:
May God give you the discernment to see through the emptiness of that fantasy.
May God expose the fantasy for what it is and blow it out of your life.
May God give you real solid blessings in those areas of your life that you need them.
In Jesus Name.
