We want certainty. We want to be able to control and predict what’s next. So, it’s not easy to let go and let God. This is why it’s so hard to be led by the Holy Spirit

But when you take that scary leap of faith and abandon yourself to Him, and commit wholeheartedly to that choice each day, the most amazing things start to happen in your life:

Freedom from stress. Freedom from the cares of this world. Peace that passes all understanding. Joy unspeakable and full of glory. The strength of the Lord to mount up on wings and soar like the eagle.

The mind governed by the flesh is death, but the mind governed by the Spirit is life and peace.

Who is in control of your mind?
The flesh?
Or the Spirit?

In other words, are you led by yourself and the world, or are you led by the Holy Spirit?

Let us continue to choose to be led by the Holy Spirit; to live our lives under His control and within His boundaries. This is life and peace.
