When you are fellowshipping with the Word of the Lord it’s very important to know how to receive it. You don’t come to God and receive from Him with your brain. I believe the brain is given to receive and interact with this material world. When it comes to God it can actually get in the way. 

God is The Eternal Supernatural Spirit so He has given you something that functions better than the very limited brain, He has given you a spirit and the Holy Spirit connects with you there. You connect with God in your spirit. That is your eternal part that has the ability to receive from outside the natural, normal life. 

As you become more aware of your spirit and the Holy Spirit something so powerful happens. The Holy Spirit is able to bring things to you and work things in you at a phenomenal supernatural speed. He will actually override the natural system and do extraordinary things in you. So today, ask Holy Spirit to help you become more aware of your spirit and Him as He works in you to will and to do. 
Romans 8:11– “And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies because of his Spirit who lives in you.‘
