Hello my beloved Blissful People!

Today is Testimony Thursday!
It is also the the second day of our July Fast.

Together with the Holy Spirit, I call on each one of us today to spend less time worrying and gossiping, and more time worshiping the Lord and fasting. For then we will succeed in life more quickly.

Acts 13:1-4 NIV
[1] Now in the church at Antioch there were prophets and teachers: Barnabas, Simeon called Niger, Lucius of Cyrene, Manaen (who had been brought up with Herod the tetrarch) and Saul. [2] While they were worshiping the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said, “Set apart for me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.” [3] So after they had fasted and prayed, they placed their hands on them and sent them off. [4] The two of them, sent on their way by the Holy Spirit, went down to Seleucia and sailed from there to Cyprus.

I observed that during their time with the Holy Spirit, He gave them a word that powered them into a phenomenal era of worldwide influence.

What the Holy Spirit did during that season of worshiping and fasting changed the course of history forever.

In the same way, this time we’re spending together in the presence of the Lord, worshiping Him in spirit and in truth, fasting and praying in the Holy Spirit and Scriptures, will produce far more phenomenal results than anything else we do.

Satan understands this. Which is why, together with his demons, he will try to keep many of us distracted by the busyness of life; hustling and bustling; running in circles like rats; planning and scheming with nothing significant to show for it.

But this time, we will not permit that in Jesus name!
