Joshua 11:4, 6 | “They came out with all their troops and a large number of horses and chariots–a huge army, as numerous as the sand on the seashore … The Lord said to Joshua, ‘Do not be afraid of them, because by this time tomorrow I will hand all of them over to Israel, slain. You are to hamstring their horses and burn their chariots.'”

Joshua 11:1-5 tells the story of a massive gang up against the Israelites. Nations and kings as numerous as sand on the seashore gathered to fight Joshua and Israel. But it was a complete waste of time. I wish someone had advised them not to bother. The Lord gave overwhelming victory to Joshua and Israel as He promised : all of them were slain. (Joshua 11:8) Truth be told, a battle between God and men is no contest at all.

In the same way, the gang up against you is no contest at all. It is a complete waste of time. The Lord has scattered them. It’s victory all the way for you. The Lord will show up for you and greatly save you.
