Invest Your Youthfulness In God

“Remember your Creator in the days of your youth, before the days of trouble come and the years approach when you will say, ‘I find no pleasure in them.’”
~Ecclesiastes 12:1

Remember the Lord your God in the days of your youth. You can’t fool around, and give your best years to cigarettes, to sex, to material things, and then when you’re tired and worn out, you now remember God. Do you actually think that God is a fool?

“Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows.”
~Galatians 6:7

Some use their youthful age to run around, mess up, fool around, joke around, and enjoy themselves. Then, when they are done enjoying themselves as a youth, when they’re now tired and weak, they run into the church. That’s when they remember God, and start serving Him. These people actually believe that God is a fool. God cannot be mocked; such ploys don’t deceive Him.

I want to let you know that the best time to remember God is in your youth.

Use your time today for God.
Use your energy today for God.
Use your money today for God.
Use your skills and talents today for God.
And God will not fail you.

But if you use all the resources God has given to you – including your strength as a youth – and pour it into anything outside God, you will definitely regret it. Give God your best and not leftovers.
