In The Hands Of God

In the previous post, we saw what happened to Moses’ stick when He obeyed God’s command. God told him to throw it on the ground. Moses did exactly that and the stick became a snake!

Exodus 4:2-3 NIV
[2] Then the Lord said to him, “What is that in your hand?” “A staff,” he replied. [3] The Lord said, “Throw it on the ground.” Moses threw it on the ground and it became a snake, and he ran from it.

Eventually, that stick became a powerful miracle trigger that delivered three million people from four years of slavery!

What is in your hand can become a powerful force when you obey God with it. Only God knows the true potential and power of what He has put in your hands.

In the hands of God, a stick can become a snake that swallows up magician’s snakes. And a little boy’s lunch of fish and bread can feed an intimidating crowd of thousands.

Mark 6:41-44 NIV
[41] Taking the five loaves and the two fish and looking up to heaven, he gave thanks and broke the loaves. Then he gave them to his disciples to distribute to the people. He also divided the two fish among them all. [42] They all ate and were satisfied, [43] and the disciples picked up twelve basketfuls of broken pieces of bread and fish. [44] The number of the men who had eaten was five thousand.

But, the power is only released when you put what you have into God’s hands, When you do, and continue to do with it as He has commanded.

It takes total confidence in God to obey Him with what is in your hand. That confidence is available today as you trust the Holy Spirit and receive His help.

I hear this word in my spirit—it’s a prophetic parable only for the wise: Let go of the stick and receive a miracle snake. Let go of your little boy’s lunch of fish and bread and receiving a meal for tens of thousands.
