I walked into a room full of unknown people and was ushered to take a seat. The teacher stationed at the head of the room began to teach. And, to illustrate his message, He placed two white rods in sealed packs on the table.

The first pack was unsealed by the teacher who lifted the white rod in the air and broke it in two pieces very easily.

He repeated the same action with the second pack. Howbeit, the second white rod did not break in two pieces no matter how hard he tried.

After trying a while, he said, ‘You cannot break this one. It’s the same action both times but a different outcome the second time – unable to break.’

‘You have moved into the region of what ONLY God can do!’

Why? Because of the substance used in making the second rod. In your case, because of the nature and root cause of that problem or obstacle that has lingered in your life.

And so, you’ve prayed, fasted, thought hard and well, worked studiously, persisted, been faithful, even patient, but still stuck!

Apostle Paul and His companions found themselves in this same place of stiff opposition from enemy forces.

1 Thessalonians 3:10 | “Night and day we pray most earnestly that we may see you again and supply what is lacking in your faith.”

When they perceived the obstacle wasn’t from God, they progressed in prayer.

1 Thessalonians 3:11 | “Now may our God and Father himself and our Lord Jesus clear the way for us to come to you.”

After this, the Holy Spirit said, “Shift your focus from that problem to me and my power! I will help you by dismantling that seemingly indestructible opposition!”

The barrier is removed!

The yoke is broken!

The siege is over!

The ancient gate is lifted!

There is no stopping you this time around!

It’s your time to overcome and celebrate victory!

And, I will help you, says the Lord.
