“‘Therefore come out from them and be separate, says the Lord. Touch no unclean thing and I will receive you.’ ‘I will be a Father to you, and you will be my sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty.’”
~2 Corinthians 6:14-18
God is telling you today as His child to stand apart from the world. Preserve your godly distinction. Devote yourself to God. Don’t be like all these Christians who are trying to fit in. God has a special reward in this world for those who give their best years to him. Those who give the prime of their years to God, have a special reward in this world and beyond. Make sure you invest your youth in God.
“Remember your Creator in the days of your youth, before the days of trouble come and the years approach when you will say, ‘I find no pleasure in them.’”
~Ecclesiastes 12:1
When I look at young people in my ministry who are serving God at an even earlier age than I did, I get excited. I’m happy because though I’m just still in my 30s, from the time I was a kid, down to my teens, and until now, I have been in God’s house. All of my life has been in God’s house. And I’m beginning to harvest the reward of that.
I have given God all my best years. So as I head forward into my sunset years, I am filled with joy that I gave my Maker my best years. I gave my youth – not my adult years – to God. I used it in full to serve God – that’s what I did with my life. I didn’t use it for anything else, I used it for God. And today, I’ve already began to reap the harvests.
I pray you’re inspired by my personal testimony to do the same.

Heavenly Father, please help me to devote the remaining years of my life to serve You, and carry out Your plans and purposes for my life, in Jesus’ mighty name.
