I Don’t Know Where I’m Going

For a while now— since 2013—I stopped thinking of tomorrow; of what I’m going to do next; Of where I’m going. I stopped bothering myself with goals and visions.

I remember standing before some people back then and telling them that I didn’t know where I was going, and didn’t care anymore.

At the Pacific Ocean, US western coast.

At that time, some didn’t understand what I was saying. Some actually got offended and left the group grumbling, “How can I follow a man that doesn’t know where he’s going?”

One thing I did add then was that I knew Who I was following.

I still don’t know where I’m going. And I still don’t care to know. But I still know Who I’m following.

The Holy Spirit.

For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
Romans 8:14 KJV

He met me in person when I was 17 and introduced Himself to me. He has become my goal, my vision and my purpose.

And as a result I’ve found great peace, happiness and meaning in my life. He has made my life so blissful, beautiful and complete.

As long as I’m with Him, where I’m going or where I end up doesn’t really matter to me. All I know is that with Him I’m safe and secure. With Him my destiny can only be brighter and more glorious than anything I could ever have imagined.

What if you too stopped worrying about tomorrow? What if you stopped caring about goals and visions? What if you stopped bothering yourself with where you’re going? What if instead you simply let go and let the Holy Spirit carry you on His wings and lead you to who knows where?

Have you met Him? Do you want to?
