How To Invoke God’s Militant Presence

“Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness?”
~2nd Corinthians 6:14

The secret to having God’s militant presence in your life is to maintain your distinction from the world. You will rest as a child of God, if you understand this principle. When you learn to live apart from the world, when you learn not to consider yourself one of the nations, when you walk in your separateness and in your sanctification, then the shout of God will be in your midst.

“No misfortune is seen in Jacob; no misery observed in Israel. The Lord their God is with them; the shout of the king is among them.”
~Number 23:21

The shout of God talks about the active presence of God. The shout of God in your midst means that God begins to vocalize His presence in your life. You can read about the voice of the Lord in the twenty ninth chapter of the book of Psalm. There you see what happens when God begins to vocalize His presence in your life.

“The voice of the Lord is powerful; the voice of the Lord is majestic. The voice of the Lord breaks the cedars; the Lord breaks in pieces the cedars of Lebanon.”
~Psalm 29: 4-5

The shout of the king refers to the aggressive presence of God; the militant presence of God; when God is present in your life as the Mighty Man of war. This happens when you learn to live apart from the world.

Memory Verse:
Number 23:21
“No misfortune is seen in Jacob; no misery observed in Israel. The Lord their God is with them; the shout of the king is among them.”

Prayer:
Heavenly Father, please help me to invoke Your militant presence in my life every day. Help me, Father, to constantly maintain my divine distinction, in Jesus’ mighty name.
Amen.
