How To Experience Inner Strength

“Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.
~Romans 12: 12

Deep intimate prayer should be a constant feature of your walk with God. Invest time and energy into your prayer habit. Pray at all times, so that you can successfully surmount any tough obstacles on your path to greatness.

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus.”
~ Philippians 4:6-7

Faithfulness to prayer releases tremendous inner peace. This peace protects your heart and your mind from panic; from getting desperate and doing the wrong things; and from becoming a victim of your circumstance.

Then again, something else happens when you pray:

“I pray that out of his glorious riches He may strengthen you with power through His spirit in your inner being…”
~ Ephesians 3:16

Whenever you pray, you experience inner strength. By when you pray, I mean when you continue to pray. I’m not referring to fleeting, shallow prayers. The bible tells us to be faithful in prayer! If you prayed yesterday, and then you don’t pray today, you are not faithful in prayer. To be faithful in prayer means that you are full of prayer; you are continuing instant in prayer; you are consistent in prayer. It is in this state that you experience inner strength. The God within you begins to supply inner strength to you. This is the strength that now enables you to surmount the challenges that you are facing.

Choose today to pray and continue to pray.

Memory Verse:

Ephesians 3:16

“I pray that out of his glorious riches He may strengthen with power through His spirit in your inner being…”

Prayer:

Lord, thank you for your strength that is made available to me in a place of communion with you. Please help me to adopt a consistent continual prayer habit, in Jesus’ name.
Amen.
