Psalm 85:8 NLT | “I listen carefully to what God the Lord is saying, for He speaks peace to His people, His faithful ones. But let them not return to their foolish ways.”

Most times, a major effect of the voice of the Holy Spirit on you is peace. His voice calms your heart and gives you the confidence to laugh at challenges.

This peace is not dependent on your external circumstances; does not come from the world; and often does not make sense even to you. You just know deep within you that everything is going to be alright. How God will do it, you don’t know and don’t particularly care.

Worry and anxiety often signal an absence of His voice in your heart. Isaiah 28:16 tells us that he that believes will not panic. Receive peace from the Holy Spirit right now, even as He speaks to you through today’s post. May every worry be overcome by His peace that passes all understanding.
