“Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own…”

You are the temple of the living God. God lives in you, and you are stronger than you are aware of.

The task in front of you is no match for the strength within you. You might be faced with technical difficulties, financial challenges, or even demonic oppositions in your assignments. Yet, know that they are no match for the divine potential within you; they are no match for the God inside of you.

“You, dear children are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.”
~1 John 4:4

However, if you are not aware of this, and you ignorantly neglect the God within, then you will try to tackle these challenges with your frail human abilities. Your inability to draw from the deep spiritual power within you will bring defeat; success will elude you.

I have found out in my ministry – even in the businesses that I have done, and in the projects that I have carried out – that the assignments God gives, demand more than my talents allow; that I need to be more talented than I am to do all that God has assigned to me. So, how do I handle these tough challenges? I will illustrate with a recent experience.

Not too long ago, I came across something I wanted to do in our media ministry. As I contemplated on it, I had no clue on how to go about it. However, at that moment, I remembered that the only wise God lives inside me; the omniscient God lives inside me; that the God who said, “I’m the God of all flesh, is anything too hard for me?” lives inside me. So, I prayed “Okay, God, since you put this dream in my heart, since you put this possibility in my spirit, how do I go about it?”

When you pray, when you connect to the God within, a lot of things begin to happen in your life; your success is assured. There is no point in continuing to strive in the flesh. God says that you are more than a conqueror. He has given you the gift of victory. God has put Himself in you, so you are not supposed to fail; you are not supposed to be defeated. You are on a victory path; you are much more than a conqueror.

“No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.”
~ Romans 8:37

Thank you Lord that greater is He that is in me. Thank you for Your strength within which helps me to overcome any tough opposition I encounter, in Jesus’ name.
