Fruit Is A Byproduct Of Intimacy

‭‭Hebrews 11:3 NIV| “By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God’s command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible.”

The seen world has come from the unseen world. So a lot of the things of the unseen world (the spirit realm) can be understood by the things that we see in the natural world.

For example, when Jesus wanted to teach his disciples about the work of the Lord, He told them to look at the field of wheat. Then told them the harvest is vast but the laborers are few. He was speaking of souls; or the work of the kingdom; not the actual field of grain.

In the same way He has given us something to look at when it comes to the fruit of the Spirit and bearing fruit for the kingdom. The word fruit is often used in a way to explain reproduction as in childbearing, like ‘fruit of the womb’.

The fruit of the womb is the byproduct of intimacy between a husband and a wife. So you can say that the fruit of the Spirit is a byproduct of intimacy with the Holy Spirit.

I think of the ‘womb’ as the heart, that’s where the Holy Spirit is. Then the word of God is implanted into our hearts; and as you nurture that relationship, He begins to work in you to develop the Christ nature inside of you. And what is produced and seen in your life is the fruit of the Spirit.

Galatians‬ ‭5:22-23‬ ‭NET‬‬| “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law.”

Prayer|Holy Spirit help me to completely surrender to you in every area of my being. I want to produce Your fruits in my life, in Jesus Name. Amen.
