Four Powerful Rewards Of Patience

Isaiah 40:31 KJV
But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

Waiting upon the Lord is easier said than done. It’s neither easy nor enjoyable. It’s something we have to endure. That’s why we don’t always like it. And that’s why we tend to avoid messages on patience.

Waiting on the Lord takes time. So it requires patience. Lots and lots of it. Without patience, you won’t be able to wait for long.

During a recent discussion in our home church, my daughter Marvellous identified patience as one of the capacities we need to develop in order to enjoy more of God’s supplies in this life.

Patience is very powerful. So powerful that you won’t be able to receive much from the Lord without it.

But if you have patience, you’ll wait on the Lord as long as necessary. And if you wait on the Lord as long as required, the following will happen. These are the rewards of patience:

  1. You will renew your strength.
  2. You will mount up with wings as eagles.
  3. You will run, and not be weary.
  4. You will walk, and not faint.

So, today, I pray that the Lord will produce His fruit of patience in you. In Jesus name. Amen. 🙏
