Floating Down The River Of Delights

Psalms‬ ‭36:8‬ ‭NIV‬‬| They feast on the abundance of your house; you give them drink from your river of delights.”

‭‭One of my most favorite things to do here in south Louisiana is tubing down the river. For those who don’t know what tubing is: you get on a big inner tube and get into the river at one spot and float down to another designated spot. It is so relaxing.

The other day in our home church family gathering, Holy Spirit gave me a vision of us floating on an inner tube down a river. He made it known to me it was the River Of Delights also called it the River Whose Streams Make Glad.

As I entered the inner tube of His grace, the water was cool and refreshing, it was like liquid love. I began to float down the river and noticed I was not doing any of the work. I was at the complete mercy of the river. The water was moving and I was rested on the tube. I was not in control and I didn’t have to do anything!

Then suddenly a gentle breeze of Gods breath began to blow over me. As His breath kissed my cheek, my body was filled with complete ecstasy. His joy vibrated through my entire being. Peace flooded my soul. It was very delightful in deed.

Holy Spirit made me to know this is what He wants for all His children to enjoy- daily in their lives. It’s absolutely amazing!

This is a place of total surrender to Holy Spirit, complete dependence on Him. A place a rest and peace no matter what is going on. It is possible and available with and in Him only.

I’ve been enjoying this River Of Delights, floating down this river whose streams who make glad. Will you join me?

If so, then pray this prayer with me this day: Today I am rejoicing in this day that You have made Father. I want to surrender my everything to You and enter the inner tube of grace and float down the River Of Delights. Refresh my soul today. Holy Spirit keep me here, I never want to leave. In Jesus Precious Name, Amen.

Psalms‬ ‭46:4‬ ‭NIV‬‬| There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God, the holy place where the Most High dwells.”
