Matthew 22:37| “Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.‘”

I was meditating on this scripture one day and thought “how do I love you with my mind?”.  Then the Holy Spirit said, “think about Me.” Then He reminded me of a time when I was falling in love with someone and He said did you have to “make” yourself think of them? Did you have to set a reminder in your phone to think of them? Or did someone have to tell you to think of them? 

Of course every answer was obviously “no”. I knew where He was going with the line of questioning. The truth is when you love someone it’s automatic that your thoughts will be on them, a lot! Your mind will be hard to focus on anything else. 

Today I want to present for your consideration a few questions, have you been thinking about the Lord? Or is your mind consumed with other things? Do you find it hard to make time for prayers (hang-out with God)? If so you may need to get back to your first Love. Today I pray you fall in love afresh with Him. Let His love sweep you off your feet and consume every thought! Bliss be with you. 💞
