Mark 5:39 NIV | “He went in and said to them, “Why all this commotion and wailing? The child is not dead but asleep.”

We were once asked by the Rev during one of our Fellowship Of Gods, how we saw God, and what he meant to us. I shared then that I saw him as One who everything and everyone answers to – as One with limitless possibilities.

In today’s text, Jesus came to the family of Jairus, and met many crying and wailing. Their twelve year old daughter had just died. He however, saw differently. He told them that the girl was not dead, but asleep. He eventually spoke to the girl and ‘woke her’ from her sleep, and she lived.

What are you saying about that situation in your life? How do you see it? Whatever Adam called the animals was what they became. Life and death is in the power of your tongue. Right now, allow the thoughts and mind of the Holy Spirit to overshadow you and flow through you. Begin to speak to that seeming hopeless situation in your life. Call it what you want it to be, and expect limitless possibilities. Bliss be with you.
