Acts 12:7 NIV | “Suddenly an angel of the Lord appeared and a light shone in the cell. He struck Peter on the side and woke him up. “Quick, get up!” he said, and the chains fell off Peter’s wrists.”
Peter was imprisoned, bound with chains, and guarded by four squads of four soldiers. That’s a total of sixteen armed soldiers, watching over one man! He was set to be tried and executed the following morning by Herod, but something powerful happened.
While in prison, the church earnestly prayed to God for him. And boom! Suddenly, an angel of the Lord appeared to him and mysteriously delivered him. Prayer connects us to the realm of God. It connects us to the realm of limitless possibilities. In Christ our limitations die. They cease to exist. (Philippians 2:13)
I don’t know exactly the barriers that you may be facing in your life. But the same God that brought Peter out of the prison, with all the barriers, is set to deliver you! Expect deliverance from your flesh, besetting sins, lack, debt, satanic delays, chronic sicknesses, and every chronic condition. You will surely testify!
