This was a riddle told by Samson. He discovered honey from the carcass of a lion that attacked him, which he eventually killed. It reminds me of the story of the four lepers in 2 Kings 7:3-8. Their enemies and oppressors mistook their sound for the sound of a mighty army and fled, leaving them with much plunder and valuables, in the face of a life-threatening famine.

Are there odds against you threatening your existence, and your success? I declare God’s word to you now! They are in your favour! Out of your eater will come something for you to eat! Out of the strong will come something sweet! What once terrorised you will become terrorised by you! What once floored you will become floored by you.

God is for you. No situation can withstand you. There is a stronger lion in you, than the ‘lions of this life’ that are against you. Expect a turnaround!
