Romans 8:28 NLT | “And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.”
Your life is like a story book written by God. According to the book, everything in your life is there to serve God’s purpose for you. The pleasant and the unpleasant. The pleasure and the pain. The ups and the down. The nice and the nasty. Like in Joseph’s life, they’re simply all ingredients to your success story.
So if God causes everything to work for our good, how should we relate to everything, especially the negatives?
God uses negative experiences to break us to bring forth His glory. The Oil and Wine, which are symbolic of the Holy Spirit, came from the crushing of olive and vine. Similarly, the power of the Holy Spirit can only be experienced in our lives, as we undergo some form of crushing. So, we are to embrace everything, especially the negatives, with thanksgiving, gratitude, and joy. Receive the grace!
