Satan quoted the Bible to Jesus! Imagine that!
So even the devil knows the Bible and quotes it.

BIBLE STUDY

Matthew 4:5-6 NIV | Then the devil took him to the holy city and had him stand on the highest point of the temple. “If you are the Son of God,” he said, “throw yourself down. For it is written: “ ‘He will command his angels concerning you, and they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.’ ”

Let me tell you something: If you don’t have the Holy Spirit inside you guiding you, people will use bible verses to manipulate, control and deceive you.

Don’t let that happen to you. Don’t become a victim of those that use bible verses to intimidate, condemn, manipulate and control others.

The Holy Spirit Himself lives inside you. You have Him already. He is with you right now as you read this. He is right there inside you. Listen to Him.

He speaks through your thoughts. Yes. Be quiet and listen.

Those thoughts that fill you with excitement; those thoughts that fill your heart with peace; those thoughts that energize you and make you want to shout; those thoughts that make you feel super confident—that’s Him talking to you!

Understand this: You are as anointed as anybody. You’re as much filled with the Holy Spirit as anybody. So, start listening to the Holy Spirit for yourself and become your own prophet!

PRAYER

Holy Spirit, please help me to always listen, hear, and follow you.
