Colossians 3:2 | NIV “Set your mind on things above, not on earthly things.”

Jesus makes a distinction between the two realms in this life – ‘In this world’, and ‘In me.’ What you see is a reflection of the realm where your mind is set. And where your mind is set – your mindset – determines your experiences and your reality. I use this as a litmus test for my life.

We are seated together with Christ in heavenly places, far above principalities and powers. ‘In Him’ – ‘above’, you find green pastures (living words) joy, peace, freedom, to mention a few. So, whenever I lack in these, I just know my mind is not aligned to the Holy Spirit’s.

So, today is a challenge to elevate your consciousness. It’s a challenge to relocate yourself mentally. Regardless of what you may be facing, receive the grace to not engage the energy of the irrelevant, shallow, and fleeting things that are below. Only one thing remains needful.
