2 Corinthians 12:9 NLT
Each time he said, “My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.” So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me.
God’s Power works best in our weakness.
Now, that is very interesting.
In other words, whenever I realize how weak I really am, I become a conducive environment for His power.
So, weakness is not a bad thing after all. It’s not something to be ashamed of. It’s not something to hide or pretend about.
Relative to the power of God, therefore, your weaknesses are actually assets! Because God’s power works best in your weakness. When you are weak, then He is strong.
And that is to say that whatever exposes our weaknesses and drives us to depend on God is a good thing.
In the light of this word, you can see that the trials and adversities you face today have not come to make you stronger. Instead, they have come to help you realize your weaknesses and drive you closer to the Holy Spirit.
Have you realized your weaknesses yet? Or are you among those hiding theirs and always pretending to have it all together?
The Holy Spirit is not impressed by your strength at all. So, there’s no point pretending to be strong while you’re hollowed out inside.
And there’s no point feeling ashamed for your weaknesses.
Thank God for them instead. And ask His Holy Spirit to help you.
If you will humbly acknowledge your weaknesses before God, and if you will ask the Holy Spirit to help you, He will bring you into His supernatural realm of amazing grace. And you will begin to enjoy effortless triumph in life.
