“Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked, or stand in the way of sinners, or sit in the seat of mockers. But his delight is in the law of the Lord, and on His law he meditates day and night. He is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruits in season, and whose leaves does not wither. Whatever he does prospers.”
~Psalm 1:1-3
There are about 5 instructions in the above scripture that you need to take, if you want to walk in your divine distinction. Let me share 2 of them here, and continue with the rest over the next two days.
1. Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked.
Number one is that you must stop taking counsel from unbelievers. If you want to walk in your divine distinction, don’t go to an unbeliever who does not share your godly principles and values for advice.
2. He does not stand in the way of sinners.
Number two is that you shouldn’t stand in the way of sinners. Way refers to path – that is, a method of doing things. If you want to walk in your divine distinction, don’t follow the ways of the world. Don’t do things in the way and manner of the world.
Memory Verse:
Psalm 1:1-3
“Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked, or stand in the way of sinners, or sit in the seat of mockers. But his delight is in the law of the Lord, and on His law he meditates day and night. He is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruits in season, and whose leaves does not wither. Whatever he does prospers.”Prayer:
Father, strengthen me by Your Spirit to not walk in the counsel of the wicked, or stand in the way of sinners, in Jesus’ name.
Amen.
