Isaiah 40:31| “But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.”
I once heard a story about a couple young boys that were selling mangos. They learned a trick to help them sell them. They found out that if they put the unripe mangos in very hot water they would turn yellow. The problem is that they were not ripe. So it didn’t take long before people caught on and stopped buying from them.
I think sometimes we “cook the mango” in our life. We try to make things happen instead of letting them happpen. I have experienced both. I am here to tell you that letting things happen and play out according to God’s will is way better. Gods way are not ours. His ways are far more superior. The thing is that most times it doesn’t look that way to you at first. But it always works out in the end.
Today surrender that situation to Him. Let go of the out come. Trust in the Lord about that circumstance. Resist “cooking the mango”, instead let it happen and receive peace to your soul. As you wait on the Lord He is renewing your strength. He is alive and active in your life. Blissful, give Him praise!
