ISAIAH 53:10 NLT | “BUT IT WAS THE LORD’S GOOD PLAN TO CRUSH HIM AND CAUSE HIM GRIEF. YET WHEN HIS LIFE IS MADE AN OFFERING FOR SIN, HE WILL HAVE MANY DESCENDANTS. HE WILL ENJOY A LONG LIFE, AND THE LORD’S GOOD PLAN WILL PROSPER IN HIS HANDS.”

The fall of man led to judgement of ourselves and others. The moment Adam and Eve ate from the tree of knowledge, they began making conclusions including thinking nakedness is wrong. Knowledge brought sin into the world and this has filtered down to every area of our lives, bringing condemnation and fighting God’s Will especially when it looks ‘bad’ and ‘unpleasant’ to us.

But it was God’s ‘good’ plan for Jesus to crush Him and cause Him grief so that we may live. And, Jesus said to John, the beloved and James, His disciples, that if they are to share His glory, they must also drink from the cup of His suffering and persecution for the Word.

So, who are you to decide what is good or bad? Leave that to the only righteous and just God. And instead pray, let Your will be done in my life without any resistance from me. Bliss be with you.
