Are your current circumstances speaking the opposite of what the Lord has promised you? Fear not because challenges come to prove your faith. And victory waits for those who do not allow difficulties change their confession. Keep declaring the words the Holy Spirit has given you concerning the different aspects of your life. Do not allow the “weight” of the problem change what you are saying.

David did not kill Goliath with only stones and a slingshot, he also employed the power of words. In fact, the first time David heard Goliath challenge Israel, he responded by calling Goliath an uncircumcised Philistine.(1Samuel 17:26) When brought before Saul, David belittled Goliath again with his words.(1Samuel 17:36) And finally, when David stood before Goliath, he had this to say :

1Samuel 17:46 | “This day the Lord will hand you over to me, and I will strike you down and cut off your head. Today, I will give the carcasses of the Philistine army to the birds of the air and the beasts of the earth, and the whole world will know that there is a God in Israel.”

So what are you saying to that “Goliath” in front of you? Are you cowering in fear like the rest of the Israelite soldiers? Or will you rise by the power of the Holy Spirit and speak death to Goliath? Be strengthened today to persevere with your confession. Be filled with fresh anointing from the Holy Spirit to look Goliath in the eye and declare living words from the Spirit. Bliss be with you.
