LUKE‬ ‭24:15-16‬ ‭NLT‬‬ | “AS THEY TALKED AND DISCUSSED THESE THINGS, JESUS HIMSELF SUDDENLY CAME AND BEGAN WALKING WITH THEM. BUT GOD KEPT THEM FROM RECOGNIZING HIM.”‬‬‬‬‬‬

Well, in the second instance God kept the two followers of Jesus from recognizing Him.

Let’s see how Apostle Paul puts it in Acts 28:26-28 (NIV), “Go to this people and say, “You will be ever hearing but never understanding; you will be ever seeing but never perceiving.” For this people’s heart has become calloused; they hardly hear with their ears, and they have closed their eyes. Otherwise they might see with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their hearts and turn, and I would heal them.”

We are among the privileged few who receive pure revelations from the Holy Spirit. God wants us whole and so, predisposes our heart to receive Her touch. Celebrate this and never take it for granted as it could easily have been the other way round. Overflow with gratitude to the Holy Spirit. Bliss be with you.
