Your understanding of the mysteries of God gives you unlimited mastery over the forces of life.
Ecclesiastes 7:13 enjoins us to watch how the Maker does things, and then fall in line. We must realize that, as God’s children, we are life-giving spirits –and so learn to see as God sees.
A look at the story of creation shows God manifesting the mystery of metamorphosis. The curtain opens in Genesis chapter one and we behold God as He transforms nothingness into magnificent beauty.
"In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters. And God said, "Let there be light", and there was light." (Genesis 1:1-3).
Just like God, you and I are life-giving spirits; and, consequently, can transform any place or situation to a thing of beauty and wonder. (1 Corinthians 15:45)
Now, observe God at work in creation in order to see – as well as understand how to employ – the same mighty forces of development in your own world.
Several powerful forces of development are revealed in the account of creation. These are the same forces that can translate your dreams into realities. Let’s examine two of them.
The Holy Spirit
“…and the Spirit of God was hovering over the surface.”
Only those possessed and empowered by the Holy Spirit can impart life and development to their world. In any situation where you can feel God’s presence, there is a hope and a future.
The Holy Spirit is the Carrier and Communicator of the Consciousness – that is, the thoughts, visions, and energy – of God.
Your life has a master plan that is hidden in God. This master plan is your life as it really is in the eyes of God. It is not something you craft out of your own mind, because it already exists in the mind of God. It is God’s vision of your life.
When you allow the Holy Spirit to take over your life, He communicates this vision to your consciousness – a hitherto invisible reality of order and beauty that supersedes the visible formlessness, emptiness, and darkness; filling your heart and mind with it.
The word of God is the seed of the master plan; and whenever we say the word, we sow the seed. The Word is the seed of God’s vision for your life. In the Word is the life, and this life is the light – or development, civilization, advancement – of men. (John 1:4)
The Word must first of all dwell in your heart through meditation; but it must also dwell in your mouth through constant prophesying.
When you prophesy God’s word over your earthly circumstances, you are planting and watering the seeds of His vision.
These seeds will ultimately germinate and manifest in the glorious – and delightfully stunning – metamorphosis of your physical world.
So, you must declare the word boldly and faithfully.
As you yield to the influence of the Holy Spirit, and prophesy God’s word over your life, you too, just like God, can develop your own world!
