John 17:16 KJV
They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.

This verse implies that there are two kinds of people in this world:

1. Those that are of the world.
2. Those that are not of the world.

Each kind has her pattern; her ways; her values.
Which one do you belong to?
Choose your kind.

If you are of the world, then by all means, conform to her pattern. Walk in her ways. Adopt her values.

But if you are not of the world, then why do you conform to her pattern? Why do you walk in her ways? Why do you adopt her values?

The two can’t mix.

The ways of the world will only work for her people. It won’t work for those of the Spirit. If people of the spirit adopt the values of the world, they’ll fail miserably.

So people of the Spirit must walk in the ways of the Spirit. Stick with the Spirit. Live, move and have your being in Him. Follow Him only. Be attached to Him alone. Radically focus on Him. Restrict yourself to His boundaries.

In short, let’s pray the following Psalm.
