I Choose To Believe

During a missions trip to the United States sometime ago, someone asked me, “Pastor Favour, how are you able to, from your country, reach the whole world, considering the constraints you have?”

And I answered, “Those constraints that you think I have, only exist in your mind; they’re not in my own mind. Because sometimes out of ignorance we accept limits based on our environment. I believe that from right where I am I can reach the whole world.”

I believe that, and no one can shake me off it. I can bless all of mankind from wherever I am, because I have accepted my new reality in Christ. I have embraced these blessings and I live daily in the consciousness of what I now have in Christ. I choose to have faith in God’s word.

“Jesus answered them, ‘Is it not written in your Law, I have said you are gods?’”
~John 10:34

I choose to believe that I am a god even when I am criticized for believing in that. I believe that I am a god and I say it wherever I go. It’s up to you to accept it for yourself. I accept this reality for myself because this is what Jesus paid for. What’s the point, if Jesus paid for something and I can’t enjoy it? He suffered for these blessings and then gave them to me; so why shouldn’t I benefit from them? He made me a god, why shouldn’t I enjoy it?  I choose to believe; it’s up to you to do the same.

Do not let your circumstances decide your experiences. Do not let what anybody else is telling you decide your experiences. Let your experiences be decided by the Word of God. Let your life be shaped by what God has said regarding you: That you can be anything you want to be. You can reach any height you want to reach.

Have faith in God’s word; choose to believe.
