Choose His Counsel

As you journey through life, you will encounter challenges. Each phase of life has its peculiar challenges. You are probably dealing with one or even many right now. Today’s post will help you a little further in your quest to solve your problems and enjoy victory over challenges.

Proverbs 20:18 NKJV | “Plans are established by counsel; By wise counsel wage war.”

The above scripture makes it clear that winning in life requires counsel. You need the right strategy to get desirable outcomes.

This, however, leads to the question: how do you get the right counsel that will give you victory?

Proverbs 14:12 RSV | “There is a way that seems right to a person, but its end is the way to death.”

That a particular strategy seems right to you, does not mean it will give the outcome that you desire. Sometimes, you don’t have all the information or knowledge of all the factors at play to make the right call. Actually, you may need to pause and reevaluate what you are doing right now to solve that problem in front of you.

So, how do you improve your chances of getting the right solutions to life’s problems? How do you live life in a manner that decreases frustration and increases bliss?

Psalm 119:165 NIV | “Great peace have they who love your law: and nothing can make them stumble.”

God has laws or principles governing the different areas of life where you may encounter challenges. If you are able to gain insight into these laws and obey them in any area of life, you will enjoy bliss in that area.

Jeremiah 33:3 RSV | Call on me and I will answer you, and will tell you great and hidden things that you have not known.”

Go on your knees and ask the Holy Spirit to help you gain insight into the laws that govern the area of your life where you need victory. Choose His counsel regarding your family, business, ministry, career and relationships. And you will enjoy bliss in this life.
