Celebrate The Holy Spirit

We live in interesting times. I decided to study the book of Revelation, paying particular attention to the plagues Apostle John wrote about. While studying, I saw a passage that jumped at me:

Revelation 9:3-4 | “And out of the smoke locusts came down upon the earth and were given power like that of scorpions of the earth.

They were told not to harm the grass of the earth or any plant or tree, but only those people who did not have the seal of God on their foreheads.”

Hmm. Plagues from God are not for everybody. Some people are exempt. In fact, earlier in Chapter 7 of the book of Revelation, an angel said this:

Revelation 7:3 | “Do not harm the land or the sea or the trees until we put a seal on the foreheads of the servants of our God.”

So, I ask you: Do you have the seal of God on your forehead?

Dear Blissful, I will answer for you. Yes, you do!

2 Corinthians 1:21-22 | ” Now it is God who makes both us and you stand firm in Christ. He anointed us, set His seal of ownership on us, and put His Spirit in our hearts as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come.”

Ephesians 1:13 | “And you also were included in Christ when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation.

Having believed, you were marked in Him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit.

You’ve got the seal of God on your forehead — the Holy Spirit. Plagues don’t touch you. Dear Blissful, take out time and thank the Father for the Holy Spirit. Celebrate the Holy Spirit!

You may ask: What of those who don’t have the seal? Intercede for them. And watch God’s mercy triumph over His judgements. Bliss be with you.
