Bold Choices

Welcome to Philadelphia

[Welcome to Philadelphia! Philadelphia Ministerial Reception party. ]

It’s good to be home again after a fruitful mission trip to the eastern coast of the United States. I spoke at several Christian gatherings and we witnessed some very amazing miracles. God’s word came forth with tremendous power and many lives were literally transformed.

With the family of Pastor AngelPastor Angel Torres (seen here – right photo – with me, his wife and daughter) is a Hispanic Pastor. He has had severe pain in his right arm since 1965 – HAS BEEN UNABLE TO MOVE THAT HAND FOR 46 YEARS. During one of the services , I gave a word of knowledge and commanded him to stretch forth his hands. He did and the pains instantly disappeared; and NOW HE CAN MOVE HIS HANDS COMPLETELY WITHOUT PAINS!

We witnessed all manners of healing and deliverance as the power of God moved upon whole congregations and individual lives. Unclean spirits of death, infirmities, and others came out of people in the name of Jesus Christ. It was simply amazing.

As you can imagine, I taught on a wide range of subjects during this mission trip – faith in God, wisdom, the power of prayer, and so on. Below is a summary of one of the messages I delivered to a gathering of Pastors, Christian Leaders, and God’s children.

Bold Choices…

"When Pharaoh let the people go, God did not lead them on the road through the Philistine country, though that was shorter. For God said, "If they face war, they might change their minds and return to Egypt. So God led the people around by the desert road toward the Red Sea. The Israelites went up out of Egypt armed for battle." (Exodus 13:17,18).

Rather than lead the people through a shorter route, God choose to lead them by the desert road. Observe that the decision to "lead them around by the desert road" – that is a longer route – was due to their deep fear of war.

If only they had the courage…

Unfortunately, it was not so; they were scared of conflict and opposition.

God has lots of great plans for us. He has prepared a promised land and set a table for us.

However, many wander endlessly in the wilderness of confusion, lack, and frustration because they are afraid to make the necessary bold choices.

Lots of times, it’s our fear of war – conflict, rejection, misunderstanding, inconveniences – that hinder and ultimately abort the promises of God in our lives.

The time has come for us to decide whether to continue tramping the wilderness, or boldly confront the giants on our way.

Its time to make those choices that will allow us to move forward with greater speed towards Gods destiny for us. In your particular situation, a bold choice might e mean ending an abusive relationship. It might involve giving up what you have now to release what God want you to have. Perhaps, it might require you to take that bold step to pursue the vision God has put in your heart.

Regardless of what it might be in your case, dare to take courageous actions today.
