To The Holy Spirit With Love

For Blissful People, the Lord Himself has designated every Friday as Financial Favour Friday (FFF). His command to us on this day is quite simple: Let my Blissful People Bring me offerings of love.

This is why Blissful People give our offerings here every Friday. On this day, we express our special love for the Holy Spirit through our giving.

Of course, there are multiple other ways that we express our love to Him daily in our various lives. However, on Financial Favour Fridays, Blissful People express our love individually to Him through our financial giving on this platform, because He asked us to. And I love to follow Him to the letter.

Some of us have chosen Financial Favour Fridays as our medium for giving our tithes, special offerings, first fruits and so on. I appreciate that. I’m sure the Holy Spirit does as well.

As you give today, remember to do so generously, cheerfully. But, most especially, be motivated only by the purest love for the Holy Spirit.

So, before you transfer your FFF gift today, close your eyes and remind yourself that you are giving to the Holy Spirit Himself as an expression of your deepest love for Him.

Precious Holy Spirit, in obedience to your instruction, your Blissful People are loving you with their wealth today. Some big, some small, but all from a heart of love. Receive our various tokens of love and help us to always love you with all our being. In Jesus name. 🙏

Only One Thing Is Needed

Acts 3:15 NIV
You killed the author of life, but God raised him from the dead. We are witnesses of this.

Jesus Christ is the Author of Life. He wrote life’s script. He designed its principles and dynamics. And, consequently, more than anyone else, He knows exactly what matters and what does not.

So, pay careful attention to Him in the following verses.

Luke 10:41-42 NIV
[41] “Martha, Martha,” the Lord answered, “you are worried and upset about many things, [42] but few things are needed—or indeed only one. Mary has chosen what is better, and it will not be taken away from her.”

According to the Author of life, only one thing is needed.

If the Author of Life says so, then it is so. He made life. He designed it. So He knows exactly what is needed and what is not.

And if He says only one thing is needed, then I want to find out what that one thing is and focus absolutely on it.

So, what is this one thing that is needed?

He tells us in the following statement:

“Mary has chosen what is better, and it will not be taken away from her.”

While Martha was hustling and bustling in the rat race, Mary stayed focused on the Lord, listening to Him and learning from Him.

So, the one thing that is needed —the only thing you need to do in this life—is to stay focused on the Lord, listening to Him and learning from Him.

This is life. This is joy and peace. This is contentment and great gain. This is bliss.

You Don’t Need To Know God To Be Anointed, Blessed, And Powerful

The emperor Cyrus proves it.
(Note my emphasis in the verses below.)

Isaiah 45:4-5 NIV
[4] For the sake of Jacob my servant, of Israel my chosen, I summon you by name and bestow on you a title of honor, though you do not acknowledge me. [5] I am the Lord, and there is no other; apart from me there is no God. I will strengthen you, though you have not acknowledged me,

Cyrus conquered the world and became the emperor of a powerful empire. And he accomplished all this without a personal knowledge of God.

Consider all the blessings God bestowed upon a man that didn’t even acknowledge Him:

  1. God anointed him. v1
  2. God took hold of his right hand. v1
  3. God subdued nations before him. v1
  4. God stripped kings of their armor before him. v1
  5. God opened doors before him so that gates would not be shut against him. v1
  6. God went ahead of him and leveled the mountains. v2
  7. God broke down the gates of bronze for him. v2
  8. God cut through bars of iron for him. v2
  9. God gave him the hidden treasures. v3
  10. God gave him riches stored in secret places. v3
  11. God summoned him by name. v4
  12. God bestowed a title of honor on him. V4

Yet he didn’t know God!

Isn’t it intriguing that all these extraordinary blessings were bestowed on a man that didn’t acknowledge God? He had no personal relationship with God. Yet He experienced the anointing, blessings and gifts of God.

Think about it.

We must let go of the silly idea that in order to be blessed by God, you need to have an intimate personal relationship with God. That’s a religious fantasy that has no basis in reality.

Millions and billions today are enjoying the goodness and blessings of God, without any personal relationship with Him. He blesses the good, the bad, and the ugly.

Matthew 5:45 NIV
that you may be children of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous.

The sun shines on you, not because you’re evil or good, but because it’s the sun. Shining and beaming down its rays is what it does; an expression of what it is.

The rain falls on you, not because you’re righteous or unrighteous. It’s simply being the rain. Pouring down its showers is what it does; an expression of what it is.

And so it is with God.

God’s gifts and blessings are not distributed on the basis of morality or religion. They are given based on God’s nature and mysterious purposes. Whether you are good, bad or ugly has nothing to do with the blessings of God.

The Scripture even warns against seeing godliness as a means to financial gain, telling us it’s a twisted way of looking at things.

1 Timothy 6:5 NIV
…and constant friction between people of corrupt mind, who have been robbed of the truth and who think that godliness is a means to financial gain.

Whether you go to church or not, whether you serve God or not, whether you give or not, whether you are just or unjust, good or evil, the rain will fall on you, and the sun will rise on you.

For this reason, it’s time to rise to a higher motive in your relationship with God. Let go of greed, fear, or selfishness. Don’t be motivated by punishment or reward. Rather, let pure love become your driving force—Pure, unconditional and undiluted love. Period.

May the Lord Himself help us to seek and follow Him strictly out of the purest motive of love. In Jesus name. 🙏

Bumper To Bumper

Psalm 63:8 KJV
My soul followeth hard after thee: thy right hand upholdeth me.

Followeth hard after thee: This means he was following the Holy Spirit bumper to bumper; not giving any gap; not looking right or left.

It’s never easy to do this. Life is full of pressures: People and their dramas; bills to pay; deadlines to meet; all sorts of emergencies and unforeseen circumstances. Plus Satan manipulates all these daily troubles to distract us from the Holy Spirit.

You can’t control what life throws at you each day to test you. You can’t even control what you desire.

However, you can control two things:

  1. Your conscious choices, and
  2. Your relentless prayers.

And you should put these two powers to work in your favour.

First, consciously choose to follow hard after the Holy Spirit.

Then relentlessly ask the Holy Spirit to help you do this.

May the Lord Himself help you to focus on Him today. May He help you to follow Him wholeheartedly today. And may He protect and strengthen you against all distractions today. In Jesus name.

Led By the Holy Spirit (6)

What if your whole mind were completely immersed and wrapped up in the Holy Spirit? What if all of your thoughts were focused on Him all the time? What if hundred percent of your time is spent fellowshipping with Him?

Then your cup will always overflow without you even trying. You will always win in life without stress. You will literally be walking on the storms and turning the world the right side up, just like Jesus did!

This is the true and powerful message of the second part of Psalm 23:5.

Psalm 23:5b NIV
…You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.

A new week spreads out before you. A fresh opportunity to commit to being completely led by the Holy Spirit in every area of your life.

Please let go of the cares of this dying and miserable world. Shun the hustle and bustle. Reject the rat race. Take the higher way of the Holy Spirit.

Your world is waiting to drink from your overflow as you relentlessly follow after the Holy Spirit.

This Is Your Season Of Deliverance And Overflow!

There is a very powerful anointing of deliverance and overflow this season. You should connect and receive the prophetic word in your life.

Psalm 23:5 NIV
You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.

The Lord has prepared a table before you in the presence of your enemies. It means that, in spite of all the enemies have done to hinder your blessings, you still prevailed.

A powerful deliverance anointing has already gone ahead of you to paralyze your enemies and render them impotent. And now, those enemies have become toothless bulldogs. They don’t matter anymore in the equation of your life.

The anointing of overflow is strong upon you. This will create a supernatural increase in your various containers. You will be filled to overflowing; having more than enough; blessing other people.

Receive this deliverance and overflow anointing right now in your life in Jesus name.

Led By The Holy Spirit (5)

The Holy Spirit is with you. Always. But, is He in charge? Is He leading you? Or are you running your own life, doing whatever pleases you?

Only those led by the Holy Spirit are the true sons and daughters of God; because, that is the only way to bear His fruits.

Those who are led by the Holy Spirit begin by sincerely doing two things.

First of all, accept in your heart that the Holy Spirit is always with with you and lives in your heart. This is true. He is already there; with you and in you. Accept this as your reality.

Secondly, ask Him to help you surrender daily and completely to Him. Without His help, it is impossible for any human being to surrender to Him. So, ask Him to help you.

These two things are just a start, but, really, they’re all you need to do. The Holy Spirit will do the rest.

Led By The Holy Spirit (4)

You are a good seed. Yes you are.

No matter what your flaws tell you, no matter what your past mistakes and failings tell you, and no matter what the judgmental holier-than-thou crowd tells you, you are a good seed.

You have tremendous divine potentials. You have God Himself inside of you. You have the potential to do all things through Christ who strengthens you. The divine Spirit that brought you into existence is able to make you excel beyond your wildest imaginations.

Yet, like any good seed, all of these potentials remain locked up within you unless you’re planted in suitable soil and climate—unless you’re planted in the house of the Lord.

Psalm 92:12-13 NIV
[12] The righteous will flourish like a palm tree, they will grow like a cedar of Lebanon; [13] planted in the house of the Lord, they will flourish in the courts of our God.

To be planted in the house of the Lord simply means to live, move, grow and have your being within the boundaries of the Holy Spirit. It means to be completely led by the Holy Spirit in every area of your life.

In my spirit I see that happening to you. Which is why I’m praying for you to experience this blissful reality of always being led by the Holy Spirit at all times. May you dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of your life. In Jesus name. Amen. 🙏

It’s Financial Favour Friday!

Give cheerfully and generously. Motivated only by love for the Holy Spirit. 🙏

Led By The Holy Spirit (3)

We want certainty. We want to be able to control and predict what’s next. So, it’s not easy to let go and let God. This is why it’s so hard to be led by the Holy Spirit

But when you take that scary leap of faith and abandon yourself to Him, and commit wholeheartedly to that choice each day, the most amazing things start to happen in your life:

Freedom from stress. Freedom from the cares of this world. Peace that passes all understanding. Joy unspeakable and full of glory. The strength of the Lord to mount up on wings and soar like the eagle.

Romans 8:6 NIV
The mind governed by the flesh is death, but the mind governed by the Spirit is life and peace.

Who is in control of your mind?
The flesh?
Or the Spirit?

In other words, are you led by yourself and the world, or are you led by the Holy Spirit?

Let us continue to choose to be led by the Holy Spirit; to live our lives under His control and within His boundaries. This is life and peace.

Led By The Holy Spirit (2)

Who are the Children of God? Notice he didn’t say those that believe in Jesus, those that go to church, or those that keep the Ten Commandments.

Instead, he says those that are led by the Spirit of God.

Romans 8:14 NIV
For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God.

To be led by the Holy Spirit is a personal choice each individual believer has to make. It is one thing to claim to be saved—or to have received the Holy Spirit. It is another thing to be completely led by the Holy Spirit.

Are you willing to lose control? Are you willing to be considered foolish by the world because you’re doing something that doesn’t make any sense to you or them? Are you willing to be the laughing stock of the world? Are you willing to be rejected and persecuted?

Because, when you are led by the Holy Spirit, those things will happen.

But it’s your choice. You can chose to be led by yourself, do what you want and run your own personal agenda. You can choose to follow the world and conform to her pattern and trends. Or you can choose to be led by the Holy Spirit.

The choice is definitely yours because He will never force anyone.

For me, the choice is very clear. I have chosen to love and follow the Holy Spirit. To live within His boundaries no matter the cost. And there’s no turning back.

What about you?

Led By The Holy Spirit (1)

You may have noticed my absence from Prayer Connect since yesterday. It’s deliberate. I felt the need in my spirit to pull back a bit and take a break. This will give me some time to meditate and reflect and re-confirm that I’m doing exactly what the Holy Spirit wants me to do; that I’m not overstepping His boundaries for me.

You see, when you’re walking with the Holy Spirit, He defines some boundaries for you; areas you shouldn’t venture into; things you shouldn’t do.

For instance, Jesus never left Palestine during His earthly ministry. He was constrained to the lost sheep of Israel. Peter was sent to the Jews. Paul to the Gentiles.

The boundaries of the Spirit are real. At one time, Paul wanted to get into some places to preach the gospel, but the lord wouldn’t let him.

Acts 16:6-8 NIV
[6] Paul and his companions traveled throughout the region of Phrygia and Galatia, having been kept by the Holy Spirit from preaching the word in the province of Asia. [7] When they came to the border of Mysia, they tried to enter Bithynia, but the Spirit of Jesus would not allow them to. [8] So they passed by Mysia and went down to Troas.

People of the Spirit do not cross the boundaries defined by the Holy Spirit for them.

I fear I might not be fully submitting to the boundaries of the Holy Spirit for me. I’m not sent to everyone. I’m not sent to say or do everything. I am under strict vows and constraints and I desire to stay within those boundaries.

I’ve asked our church family to pray for me. And now, I ask all Blissful People everywhere to pray for Rev Wildfire. I’m not perfect by any stretch of the imaginations. I’m often weak and fail to strictly abide by the constraints of the Holy Spirit. But with the help of the Holy Spirit, and your sincere prayers as well, I’ll make it.

I’m praying for you too.

And, this morning, let us pray for one another. May the Lord Himself help us to submit absolutely to Him in all things. In Jesus name. 🙏

May The Love Of The Holy Spirit Immunize You Against All Offenses in Jesus Name!

As we approached the end of yesterday’s fasting and prayer meeting, the Holy Spirit showed me a very powerful satanic trick that he uses to hinder our prayers.

So, right now, without wasting any time, if you’re hurt, offended, or bitter towards anyone because of something they did or failed to do, understand that Satan is manipulating you big time!

Receive grace right now to overlook, forgive, cover and pray for that person and whatever it is they’ve done —or still doing—that offends you.

Offenses can grow into bitterness, which grows into unforgiveness, which produces cancer of soul and body. And which hinders your prayers.

Offense is standing in the way. Bitterness is poisoning your destiny. Unforgiveness is hindering your prayers.

Don’t let it. Don’t!

Now pray the following prayer and type your amen in the comment.

Dear Holy Spirit, help me to forgive. Help me to overlook. Help me to cover. Help me to pray for my offenders. Help me to walk in love. Please, immunize me against offenses. In Jesus name.

Invoking The Trinity Tag Team! (Day 1)

The current season of Prayer Connect will last for 60 days. Today is day no 30. Tomorrow is day no 31. Together they make up the middle of the current PC season. And we will be fasting on both days..

Today, September 29, we will assemble at The Holy Place in Enugu by 10:00am (Nig) and pray all day. Then we will do the same tomorrow, September 30.

In the spirit I have picked up that something fantastically huge is about to erupt among Blissful People. But Satan and his demonic cohorts are desperately blocking the way with mysterious and stubborn blockades.

But I’ve also seen those blockades cleared by our Heavenly Father Himself, and our Lord Jesus Christ.

This calls for relentless prayers. Which is why we’re fasting this mid PC season.

Take note of Paul’s report in the verse below, because we will follow his prayer template these two days. Like Paul, we will be invoking the Trinity Tag Team to clear the way.

1 Thessalonians 3:10-11 NIV
[10] Night and day we pray most earnestly that we may see you again and supply what is lacking in your faith. [11] Now may our God and Father himself and our Lord Jesus clear the way for us to come to you.

Now, may our God and Father Himself and our Lord Jesus clear the way for us!

Blissful People Hangout #3

Last Saturday, during our Hangout, I introduced the Holy Spirit’s love command to all Blissful People everywhere: Adopt one of His Blissful People as your flock.

And I’m grateful to Dr Adanma Ekenna for helping us articulate that command on Rule Your Day a few days ago. Click here to read it again.

Adopt A Flock (Review)

Today, let us reflect on this command. Each of us should examine how compliant we’ve been so far with this command.

  1. Are you aware of this command?
  2. Have you adopted a Blissful yet as your flock?
  3. Have you been faithfully ensuring that your flock participates in all the activities of Blissful People?
  4. Has your obedience to this command affected you in any way?

I will appreciate it if you will take the time to share your experiences in today’s comments.

Be Relentless In Your Giving

I had a simple but extraordinary experience during this Wednesday’s midweek service at The Holy Place. It happened during the offering time—one of those awareness that shifts your perspective in a very powerful way.

I usually give a certain amount of money during each service. Like, I feel ‘at my level’, I shouldn’t give below a certain amount. And, usually, whenever I don’t have that amount, I wouldn’t give. Instead I’ll wait till whenever I have that or more, then I’ll give it—even if it means giving in arrears.

Now, during the said moment, I didn’t have my normal amount to give. And I felt what I had was too little; that it was beneath me.

Imagine that! How ridiculous!

Anyway, I wasn’t going to give.

Immediately, I heard the Holy Spirit say, “Be Relentless In your giving. Be persistent. Always give, no matter the amount.”

Then He used this quote from Martin Luther King Jr to make it clearer to me:

“If you can’t fly, then run. If you can’t run, then walk. If you can’t walk, then crawl. But whatever you do, you have to keep moving forward.”

Martin Luther King Jr.

And He rephrased it like this to me: “If you can’t give a hundred thousand, then give ten thousand. If you can’t give ten thousand, then give a thousand. If you can’t give a thousand, then give a hundred. But whatever you do, you have to keep giving.”

It blew my mind. But it has changed everything about how I give. He made it clear to me that God loves persistence in prayer, in fasting, in thanksgiving, in love and in giving.

And He urged me this morning to share this message with all His Blissful People. Every Favour Friday, give. Be persistent in your Favour Friday giving. Be relentless in it.

“If you can’t give a hundred thousand on Favour Friday, then give ten thousand. If you can’t give ten thousand, then give a thousand. If you can’t give a thousand, then give a hundred. But whatever you do, you have to keep giving.”

Give Thanks With A Grateful Heart

Today is not a day to complain. This is not a day to gripe and whine about this or that. It’s not even a day to make requests!

Today is Testimonies Thursday!

Today, Blissful People all over the world take a break from requests to remember; to be thankful; to be grateful.

So, what are you thankful for?

Personally, let me use this moment to appreciate the Holy Spirit for His help in my life—especially in taking no thought for the morrow. He is really helping me to live in the moment; to not worry about tomorrow. He is helping me to experience His peace, joy and contentment in every moment of my day. For this I’m super grateful.

Now, take a moment today and share your grateful reflections. 🙏

Let God Arise And Let Your Enemies Be Scattered! (Part 3)

1 Peter 5:8 KJV
Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:

We have an adversary. Yes, Jesus Christ has defeated him and his gang. Nevertheless, he is extremely relentless and very crafty. This is why we must never let down our guard in prayers.

And this is why I’m calling on all Blissful People everywhere to two dedicated days of intensive fasting and prayers: Sunday, September 29, and Monday, September 30.

In the spirit I have seen the enemies’ blockades along our pathways. Mysterious and stubborn blockades. But I’ve also seen those blockades cleared by our Heavenly Father Himself, and our Lord Jesus Christ.

Which is why we must be relentless and persistent in our prayers this season. Our breakthrough is up ahead. But we must pray through.

We will assemble at The Holy Place in Enugu on Sunday, September 29 by 10:00am and pray all day. Then we will do the same on Monday, September 30.

If you live in Enugu and neighboring towns, be there. If you live in other cities, you’re equally welcome to make plans to attend.

Let God Arise And Let His Enemies Be Scattered! (Part 2)

A lot of the frustrating and sickening delays you’re facing in certain key areas of your life—such as your marriage, finances, health, career and so on—is because Satan is employing some mysterious diabolical tricks to block your way.

1 Thessalonians 2:18 NIV
For we wanted to come to you—certainly I, Paul, did, again and again—but Satan blocked our way.

Listen: If Satan could block the way against the great new creation and Holy Spirit filled apostle Paul, then He can do that against anybody.

I know that Satan is blocking the way of some of my Blissful People. I know because I’ve seen it. I saw it because the Lord showed it to me; and because He wants us to be relentless in prayers.

And this is why you must participate in our Prayer Connect mid-season fast. We’ll fast and pray all day Sunday September 29, and Monday September 30.

Don’t miss it. As always among Blissful People, no excuses.

Those delays must give way.

Let all Blissful People everywhere continue to relentlessly pray this very powerful psalm:

Psalm 68:1-2 NIV
[1] May God arise, may his enemies be scattered; may his foes flee before him.
[2] May you blow them away like smoke—as wax melts before the fire, may the wicked perish before God.

Let God Arise And Let His Enemies Be Scattered! (Part 1)

Welcome to a brand new week. And I’ll start by asking the Lord to go ahead of you this week and make every crooked places straight.

There are sneaky and stubborn demons. They use mysterious tricks to cause delays and disappointments in destinies: In marriages, businesses, careers, families and so on.

I’m praying this morning that the Lord Himself will arise this week and scatter all of them! May He clear the way for you to advance in life.

In Jesus name! 🙏

Adopt A Flock

Yesterday on Rule Your Day, we reflected on who we are as Blissful People. It was easy to pick out the word “love” from many of us.

We are a group of people with a heart for God. We are all about God.

God is love. He gave us His love.

Romans 5:5b NIV
“..because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.”

God is all about people.

We see this in His response to Peter’s declaration of love. The way He sees our love for Him is in how we relate with other members of His flock.

John 21:17 NIV
The third time he said to him, “Simon son of John, do you love me?”
Peter was hurt because Jesus asked him the third time, “Do you love me?” He said, “Lord, you know all things; you know that I love you.”
Jesus said, “Feed my sheep.

As a people of love, we have decided to be about people as God is. This should start from among us, as the Holy Spirit directed at our Hang Out yesterday.

For all Blissful People, we are enjoined to do the following:

  1. Adopt one person among Blissful People as your flock.
  2. Send a Facebook friend request to the person. And, if possible, connect with him/her on WhatsApp too.
  3. Then, every day, do all you can to ensure that your adopted flock participates in all activities of Blissful People—that is:
    • Daily Rule Your Day.
    • Daily Prayer Connect.
    • Table Tuesdays.
    • Testimonies Thursdays.
    • Favour Fridays, and
    • Saturday BP Hangouts.

May we shine our lights brightly to others. Amen.
