Don’t Limit God!

Can a God that is Omnipotent, Almighty, and All-sufficient be limited? Does such a possibility exist? It sure does, sadly.

Our understanding and overall thought pattern can limit God. We can limit, frustrate, or slow down the possibilities and manifestation of God in our lives by our mindset.

This happens whenever we walk in fear, doubt, and unbelief, with respect to God’s word to us, just like Isreal of old did.

Psalm 78:41 | NKJV “Yes, again and again, they tempted God, and limited the Holy One of Isreal.”

God has enormous plans for all Blissfuls this season, and this year. All he desires is our childlike trust and unwaveringly trust in His word. That is what empowers Him.

Let’s recall some of His prophetic words to us:

Are you going to limit Him by your fears and doubts, because of all the glaring facts on ground? Or are you going to unwaveringly and like a child, trust that His word will gracefully come through for you?

Let us pray.

Lord, help my unbelief! May I not ever limit You in my life. May Your word sink in and dominate my thoughts and circumstances; to produce my desired miracles and testimonies!
In Jesus name, we pray!

Be Wise In The Company You Keep

This is a word for the wise and wisdom is too high for a fool. I believe if you are reading this, God has counted you among the wise. The Bible tells us that bad company corrupts good morals.

1 Corinthians 15:33| Do not be deceived: “Bad company corrupts good morals.””

A man once told me “you can’t soar with the eagles if you fly with the buzzards.”

I have found this to be true, you will become like the company you keep. You should guard your space diligently. Choose to be around those who celebrate you and make you want to be a better version of yourself.

James 4:4| “You adulterers! Don’t you realize that friendship with the world makes you an enemy of God? I say it again: If you want to be a friend of the world, you make yourself an enemy of God.”

A friend of the world is an enemy of God.

The reason is simple, they have complete opposite values, principles and priorities; they do not agree.

Therefore, watch the people you call friends; do they have the same morals as you? Are they going in the same direction as you? Two can’t walk together unless they agree.

Single people, if you are a child of God then you need to be very cautious with who you date. Who you decide to marry is one of the most critical decisions you will make in your life. So be very prayerful and wise in that choice or you will regret it.

On your job do not engage in distasteful conversation with other employees. Avoid drama, gossip and such.

Even within the family dynamic, it’s not everything that you have to respond to, silence is a response. Do not engage in things that drag you into the flesh.

You can not always control who you are around but you can decide who and what you will fellowship with. Being mindful of who you listen to and entertain. These things effect your mind and spirit more than you are aware.

It’s time to take inventory of the company you are keeping. Who have you been spending time with? Who have you been listening to? Are they going in the same direction? Do you share the same values?

Prayer| Holy Spirit help me be wise in my choice of company. Give me the strength to disconnect from those who are toxic to my destiny. Help me to not waste time with those who will only bring me down. Give me the courage to be who you created me to be. In Jesus Name, amen.

Contend For The Faith

What does it mean to contend for the faith? The Bible says that we do not wrestle against flesh and blood. But against principalities and powers of wickedness.

The truth is that Jesus has already destroyed those powers on the cross. So we don’t have to fight the devil or any of his demons. Glory to God!

But if you have any spiritual awareness you can tell there is some type of resistance or ‘fight’ going on.

I present these scriptures for your consideration:

1 Timothy 6:12| “Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called when you made your good confession in the presence of many witnesses.”

Jude 1:3| Dear friends, although I was very eager to write to you about the salvation we share, I felt compelled to write and urge you to contend for the faith that was once for all entrusted to God’s holy people.

Here the apostle Paul was giving insight to us concerning the fight that we face. He calls it the good fight of faith.

Simply put, faith is what God has said to you. The problem is when God speaks to you, it’s coming from His mind to you in this realm where it is usually contrary to what you actually see or how you feel at the moment. There will be a struggle to believe what He is saying to you; this is the fight of faith.

Paul encourages us to contend for the faith. So that means there will be some effort you have to put in. This will take strength and endurance.

I will share with you one way to prepare yourself to fight or contend for the faith.

Jude 1:20| ”But you, dear friends, by building yourselves up in your most holy faith and praying in the Holy Spirit,“

When God speaks to you, take time to pray over the word/ vision in the Spirit. In this way you begin to strengthen your resolve to believe what God has said no matter how different it may look to your current situation. While you are praying in the Spirit the Holy Spirit strengthens you to will and to do what God may be telling you to do.

So take the words you’ve received from God back to Him in prayer. Strengthen yourself to fight and contend for the faith by praying in the Spirit. Before you know it you will be enjoying the victory!

Set The Lord Always Before You

One of the main attacks from the enemy is distraction. He comes with all sorts of lies. He uses people, situations and things of this present world to gnaw away at your focus.

Once he has succeeded in distracting you you will begin to make poor decisions. Those decisions will get you off course, the boundary lines begin to blur. Then you lose your way, fearfully stumbling about.

Jesus said He is The Way, so the enemy wants to distract you from Jesus.
Jesus is also revealed to us as the Word. So the enemy wants to take your focus off of what God has said and his attempts are endless. Today he uses your co-worker, tomorrow it’s your kids, the next day it’s bills and so on.

Alone we are no match for the devil and his tactics. But thank God we are not alone! We have Someone that Jesus trusts and sent to be with us, that is Holy Spirit. Holy Spirit is here to help us stay focused on the Lord.

Psalms‬ ‭16:8| I have set the LORD always before me; Because He is at my right hand I shall not be moved.”

This is a very easy way to gauge where your focus is: if you are anxious, worried or afraid then that is an indication that your focus is not on the Lord.

If you are at peace, rest and have joy then your focus is right on. That is a clear indication you are looking at the Lord. When He is before you, you will not be moved.

Psalm 16:9| Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoices; My flesh also will rest in hope.”

So today ask Holy Spirit to set the Lord always before you. Ask Him to help you remember and stay focused on what God has said about you and who He has said you are. He has not changed His mind.

As the Lord is set before you you will begin to see the path clearer and your heart will be filled with joy.

Psalms‬ ‭16:11‬ ‭NKJV‬‬| “You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.”

It Will Be Obvious!

“…Rabbi, we all know you’re a teacher straight from God. No one could do all the God-pointing, God-revealing acts you do if God weren’t in on it.”

~JOHN 3:1-2 MSG

By the time God is done decorating your life this season with His mighty, outstretched arm of favours, healing, blessings, miracles, provisions and breakthroughs; IT WILL BE OBVIOUS that it’s God.

There will be no more doubt!

Quench not the Spirit.

A genuine child of God who wants to please his heavenly Father will find this world a hostile place.

Daily, you are bombarded with opinions, choices, lifestyles, thought patterns and messages that urge you to go against God’s established ways. What Satan really is after, is your faith.

The Scriptures tell you that the just shall live by faith. This means that your experiences should spring from your faith. When this is happening in your life, you enjoy divine realities different from the rest of the world around you.

An example is the word God gave the Blissfuls for this season: God will provide. This word has produced faith in your heart. However, I bet you that you will find circumstances, opinions, lifestyles, and choices of the world around you trying to get you to doubt that God will provide. Ignore them.

I will show you one powerful way to do so, and thereby resist this constant pressure by the world to doubt God and not live by faith.

You find this in Apostle Paul’s charge to Timothy:

2 Timothy 1:5-7 | NIV “I have been reminded of your sincere faith, which first lived in your grandmother Lois and in your mother Eunice and, I am persuaded, now lives in you also.

For this reason, I remind you to fan into flame the gift of God, which is in you through the laying on of my hands.

For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love and of self-discipline.”

Paul tells Timothy to flourish in His faith by fanning into flame the gift of God — the indwelling Holy Spirit. (People received the Holy Spirit when Paul placed his hands on them as shown in Acts 19:6.)

In verse 7, Paul tells Timothy the nature of the Spirit he received: He is the Spirit of power, of love and of self-discipline! He produces within and around you a conducive atmosphere for your faith to flourish and produce for you. By his work in and through you, He creates a bubble around you where your experiences begin to look quite different from those of folks around you who do not live by the same faith.

Hence the reason for today’s instruction: Quench not the Spirit.

1 Thessalonians 5:19 | KJV “Quench not the Spirit. “

1 Thessalonians 5:19 | NIV “Do not put out the Spirit’s fire.”

To live a life of faith that pleases God in this hostile world, you have to stir up, fan into flame the Holy Spirit within you. Do not put out the Spirit’s fire. His active presence is so vital to your faith and dominion in life.

My prayer for you today, is that you will receive grace to quench not the Spirit.

#PrayerConnect 2020 – RELOADED!

At this very moment, all I can see and hear concerning Blissful People is the following:

Blissful Abundance.

This is God’s promise of provision: “I will provide.”
It’s loud. And it’s crystal clear.

Now, you could choose to believe this word. You could also choose to continue staring at your circumstances; going around the same old miserable circle of complaints. It’s up to you. The choice is entirely yours.

But I strongly urge you to look away from everything else that’s contrary to the word God has given you. His promises never fail. However, you must stubbornly lay hold on them. Stubbornly refuse to look at anything else. Stubbornly persist in believing His promise, in spite of contrary circumstances.

I can see that this season will be a season of commitment to prayer, meditation, faith and fellowship with the Holy Spirit.

I invite you to participate.

I will be going live very soon for the reloaded version of Prayer Connect–now to be known as Rev Wildfire Live!

Overflow With New Wine!

Proverbs 3:10 (NKJV)
“Honour the Lord with your possessions, and with the firstfruit of all your increase; so shall your barns be filled with plenty, and your vats will overflow with new wine.”

New wine is produced from freshly pressed, crushed, and squeezed grapes. It is wine that has been produced under pressure. The grapes come through the winepress, where they have been trodden on foot.

God wants our lives to overflow with new wine. And we saw yesterday that new wine is symbolic of the Holy Spirit. So, God wants our lives to overflow with His Spirit – the  treasure of heaven.

To  overflow and enjoy the abundance of God’s realities for you, your life may come under some kind of pressure or difficulty. The children of Israel had to contend with giants in other to enter their promised land. The scriptures tell us that Jesus was made perfect through suffering.

It could be that you’re experiencing some kind of pressure or undergoing some type of suffering at the moment. You might be feeling pressed, and squeezed by the circumstances of life. Like those grapes that are crushed, trodden upon, and eventually turned into sweet and delightful wine; your momentary troubles and trials are preparing you for a life of honour and glory. They would be turned into mind-boggling testimonies.

Remember the miraculous new wine at the wedding in Cana of Galilee? The master of the ceremony and the servants were amazed. Similarly, so will many be dazed by the uncommon manifestation of the Holy Spirit in your life.

The new wine season is a season of harvest and miracles. It is our season of outpouring and overflow. New wine however, needs new wineskin. The wineskin to hold this overflow is Honour. Honour to God. Our bible verse today tells us that honour to God is what release the overflow.

Jesus honoured God (through John the Baptist), and the heaven over Him was opened. Paul honoured Peter and his ministry door opened up. Lack of honour causes closed heavens. God promises to honour those that honour Him.

The cup overflows because there is a submitted head. Honour to God can be reflected in the way we handle the things that have to do with Him: His word, people, money, time, property, service, and so on.

Do you long to honour God with everything that is within you? Do you desire for your life to overflow with new wine? Then let us pray:

Lord, help me to honour You. Remove every form of familiarity and dishonour to you, from me. Help me to see You as You really are. Cause my life to overflow with new wine. Amen!

Receive The New Wine!

Joel 3:18
“In that day the mountains will drip new wine, and the hills will flow with milk; all the ravines of Judah will run with water. A fountain will flow out of the LORD’s house and will water the valley of acacias.”

As I led in worship on Sunday in our home church family gathering, the Holy Spirit spoke the word, “New Wine”,strongly, and repeatedly, to me. He said He was filling us with new wine.

Wine is a prophetic theme of the Holy Spirit. Little wonder the scripture compares the infilling of the Holy Spirit to being drunk with wine.

New wine speaks of a new revelation; a new dispensation; a new move of the Holy Spirit. This was what Jesus meant about the parable of the new wine and old wine. He meant the dispensation of the Holy Spirit – of grace – which cannot be mixed with the dispensation of the law.

Let’s look at the words in our text for the day again: New Wine. Milk. Fountain. Water. These are all symbols of the Holy Sprit, given to address the issues – mountains, hills, ravines, and valleys – of our lives.

The Holy Spirit is bringing us to a new season. The season of new wine is a season of renewed love and intimacy with Him. He is bringing us to a place of all round renewal, revival, and refreshing, where every spiritual drought and dryness is overtaken.

It is a season of abundance. Abundance of God’s robust presence, abundance of His word, abundance of His wisdom, knowledge of His will, and abundance of material blessings.

Does your relationship with the Holy Spirit feel stale; like a struggle and a drag? Does it feel like you are just going through the motions and routines in your worship of God? Do you seem to be loosing touch with the things that once moved and fascinated you about God? Do you feel this dryness and drabness in your spirit that you long to experience something new and fresh?

The Holy Spirit is the new wine. He’s bringing a fresh touch to every area of your life. Your struggles are giving way to Him. He’s calling and wooing you to Himself. He wants to become your greatest delight and obsession, once again. You are from Him. Your satisfaction can only come from Him.

Your time of refreshing is now. He’s bringing back lushness, sweetness, newness, and freshness to your entire life. He’s bringing you wholeness. Receive Him afresh. Receive the new wine, in Jesus name!

Fruit Is A Byproduct Of Intimacy

‭‭Hebrews 11:3 NIV| “By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God’s command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible.”

The seen world has come from the unseen world. So a lot of the things of the unseen world (the spirit realm) can be understood by the things that we see in the natural world.

For example, when Jesus wanted to teach his disciples about the work of the Lord, He told them to look at the field of wheat. Then told them the harvest is vast but the laborers are few. He was speaking of souls; or the work of the kingdom; not the actual field of grain.

In the same way He has given us something to look at when it comes to the fruit of the Spirit and bearing fruit for the kingdom. The word fruit is often used in a way to explain reproduction as in childbearing, like ‘fruit of the womb’.

The fruit of the womb is the byproduct of intimacy between a husband and a wife. So you can say that the fruit of the Spirit is a byproduct of intimacy with the Holy Spirit.

I think of the ‘womb’ as the heart, that’s where the Holy Spirit is. Then the word of God is implanted into our hearts; and as you nurture that relationship, He begins to work in you to develop the Christ nature inside of you. And what is produced and seen in your life is the fruit of the Spirit.

Galatians‬ ‭5:22-23‬ ‭NET‬‬| “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law.”

Prayer|Holy Spirit help me to completely surrender to you in every area of my being. I want to produce Your fruits in my life, in Jesus Name. Amen.

Let The Power Of Christ Rest On You

2 Corinthians 12:9 NIV| “And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.”

A struggle you will often find is when you’re faced with the weakness of your human existence. Paul found himself faced with it in the above scripture. He asked God to remove something that was a weakness in him. But God refused. Instead He used that moment to give him some insight.

You see, your weakness is actually an invitation for His strength and grace.

In fact, your strength is a hinderance to His grace. Thus it disqualifies you for His strength.

When you depend on your strength or the flesh you give birth to pride in your life. You frustrate the grace of God when you try to do it on your own. If you actually succeed then you will get the glory.

When you depend on His strength you give birth to humility and grace. True humility comes from submission to God. Even if you can do it doesn’t mean that you should. In all things you should submit to the Holy Spirit.

Then when He does it, you can not take the credit, all the credit goes to God and God alone. He will not share His glory with another.

Is there anything that’s too overwhelming for you?

Do you feel inadequate?

Are you feeling unqualified?

If you answered “yes” to any of those questions that is good because now God can step in and help you.

He will give you the ability, send you help and provide for that need. Decide to boast in your weakness so that the power of Christ may rest on you.

As Cautious As Jesus Christ

John 7:1 NLT
After this, Jesus traveled around Galilee. He wanted to stay out of Judea, where the Jewish leaders were plotting his death.

Jesus knew that people were plotting to kill Him. So He took precautionary measures to avoid danger.

And when Satan quoted the scripture to get Him to commit suicide, Jesus firmly refused, saying:

Matthew 4:7 KJV
…It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.

Jesus Christ, while on earth as a man, was extremely cautious in His movements. He was never careless. He was very mindful of His personal security.

And Jesus Christ is our model.

Like Him, you shouldn’t be careless with your health, finances, movements and so on.

Of course, God has promised to protect us. And we should not be afraid. Yet, just like Jesus, do not use God’s promise of divine protection as an excuse for carelessness in life.

Many have done so and paid dearly for it.

Are you more anointed than Jesus Christ? Are you more protected by God than Jesus Christ? Don’t tempt God.

In the spirit I have seen a sudden uptick in demonic activities. Especially in the air, the seas and even the roads. They are bloodthirsty and in a feeding frenzy.

So, before you embark on any major travels over the next two to three weeks, be absolutely certain that the Holy Spirit Himself approves of it. Otherwise, avoid getting on a plane for a while—at least a month; till you get the green light of the Holy Spirit Himself in your spirit. Minimize excessive travels and movements.

Be as cautious as the One we follow.

Working With God’s Schedule

When God makes a promise He always keeps it. Always. He never fails.

However, He doesn’t operate with human calendar or schedule.
He doesn’t operate on our terms. He operates on His own terms, with His own schedule. Because He is the Soveregn Lord.

God is never in hurry. After all, He is eternal and lives forever. So, He is not bound by time and space as we are.

Yet, He is never late as men count lateness.

With all this in mind, you can see that in walking with this God, we need to be extremely patient.

Deep within you, you already know this. God will do it in His own time. Which is the best time for you. But you feel as though you can’t afford to wait; as though you’re running out of time.

No. You’re not running out of time. You just need the the help of the Holy Spirit to hold on, in spite of what appears to be a delay. Without His help, you’ll definitely give up and miss the glory.

God forbid!

Peace be with your heart right now in Jesus name.

Do Not Waver 2

Yesterday, we saw how Abraham did not waver regarding the promise of God. He did not stagger.

Romans 4:20-21 NLT
Abraham never wavered in believing God’s promise. In fact, his faith grew stronger, and in this he brought glory to God. [21] He was fully convinced that God is able to do whatever he promises.

That implies that certain forces came against His faith.
Those forces wanted him panic and give up hope. They wanted him to give in to doubt and abandon God’s promises.

This is normal. Whenever God gives us His word, it’s usually in the midst of negative circumstances: lack, sickness, discouragement, and so on. Those circumstances will then attempt to make us waver regarding God’s Word.

Unfortunately, in the majority of cases, people give in to their doubts and give up on the word. Maybe because they weren’t prepared for the forces that would attempt to shake their faith.

Don’t let that happen to you. Be prepared against the inevitable challenge to your faith. Guard your heart against the negative circumstances that will arise to challenge God’s Word in your life.

  1. Know that circumstances will arise to challenge what God has promised you; to make you doubt and question it; to make you abandon it. To be forewarned is to be forearmed.
  2. Ask the Holy Spirit to remind you of God’s Word in each and every moment that you’ll need it.
  3. Think only on God’s promises; never on the negative circumstances surrounding you. Ask the Holy Spirit to help you do this.
  4. Stay in fellowship with fellow believers—those who are also trusting God with you. Encourage them to hold on, and be encouraged by them too.

Do Not Waver

One starry night, God told Abraham that his descendants will be as innumerable as the stars on a starry night. Abraham believed Him.

I’m certain he shared this promise with his ninety year old wife who was long past the age of childbearing. He probably shared it with his entire household, and friends as well.

Months later, not hard to imagine, his wife must have approached him with questioning eyes:

“What’s going on, my Lord?”

And I can see Abraham confidently looking back into her eyes with a firm statement:

“My God has given me His word. He is faithful. He will keep His promise. So do not waver.”

Romans 4:20-21 NLT

Abraham never wavered in believing God’s promise. In fact, his faith grew stronger, and in this he brought glory to God. [21] He was fully convinced that God is able to do whatever he promises.

And in the same way today, regardless of how contrary your situation may be, and in spite of the doubts you may feel, I can look straight into your eyes and tell you that God has given us His words. He is faithful. He will keep His promises.

So, do not waver.

A Time To Strengthen Our Focus On God’s Promises

Hebrews 2:1 NIV
We must pay the most careful attention, therefore, to what we have heard, so that we do not drift away.

The year is still very fresh. But, even at this stage, it’s easy to drift away from the promises of God because of fears, uncertainties and emerging challenges.

So, if there was ever a time within the year to strengthen our focus on God’s promises, it should be now; at the very beginning of the year.

So, let’s refresh our minds on what the Holy Spirit has revealed to us so far:

  1. God is your Heavenly Father.
  2. You are His precious child.
  3. He loves you so much.
  4. His Holy Spirit lives in you and is producing Christ in you.
  1. He will provide.
  2. He will multiply your channels.
  3. He will blow your mind with extraordinary miracles that make no sense to logical minds.
  4. 2020 will be abundantly blissful and blissfully abundant to you.

We must not be forgetful hearers of the Word. So, keep these words firmly rooted in your heart and mind. Don’t let them out of your thoughts. Ask the Holy Spirit, every moment, to help you become established in His prophetic promises this year.

As long as we do not drift away from His living words, we will bear glorious fruits to the glory of our Heavenly Father.

Rule Your Day!

The Almighty God Himself is the Father of all those who have trusted in Jesus Christ as their Lord and personal Saviour. This is a very powerful truth. And it is the foundation for ruling each and every day of your life.

One way or another, I and the missionaries that work with me will be here each day to remind you that God loves you, that you are precious to Him, that His Holy Spirit lives in you, and that through the help of the Holy Spirit, you will love a life that pleases your Heavenly Father.

The Holy Spirit wants you to know that you are never alone. His mandate from your Heavenly Father is to be with you always. He is there to help you fulfill the will of God for your life. He is there to help you bear fruits that glorify God; fruits that last.

At any point in time that you feel overwhelmed, maybe sad and discouraged, remember to whisper, “Holy Spirit please help me.” And you will certainly experience the joy and peace that only He can bring.

If you need our prayer team to pray specifically for you, then include your prayer request in your comment. That is the fastest and surest way to contact us. Know that if you ever include a prayer request in your comment, we will pray over it and believe God for answers.

Blissfully Abundant, And Abundantly Blissful!

The 2019 end of year Wildfire Retreat ended yesterday. It proved to be my best of such retreats so far. So many revelations and life-transforming encounters with the Holy Spirit.

I came away with so much food for thought. Let me share a few of them with you:

God is your Father.

You are His precious child.

He loves you so much.

The Holy Spirit lives in you and is producing Christ in you.

No matter what is going around you, and no matter how people or circumstances try to put you down, if you will believe these truths and fix them firmly in your mind, 2020 will be abundantly blissful and blissfully abundant for you.

Your Life Will Not Make Sense This Year!!

Rev Wildfire

Get ready for God to blow your mind with signs and wonders that will confound the logical mind!

The foolishness of God is wiser than men!

Think about that. Because God doesn’t often make sense to our logical minds. He made that very clear to us yesterday during the ongoing Wildfire Retreat.

If you expect God to always make sense to you, if you expect to understand God’s ways all the time, you won’t get very far with Him. It’s much better to trust Him and flow with Him; whether it makes sense or not.

He has given us His word that He will provide. Then, He gave us the word that He will multiply our channels of divine supplies. And just yesterday evening He added another one:

Your life this year will not make sense to the logical human mind. This will be as a result of the supernatural miracles of God that will happen in key areas of your life.

Just get ready for God to blow your mind this year!

God Will Multiply Your Channels

The Holy Spirit has given us the promise that God will provide.
So, do not let your heart be troubled. And don’t panic in fear.

God’s Word is living, active and powerful. When it enters into your heart and takes root, it will produce a harvest. It will fulfill the purpose of God in your life.

During one of the sessions at the ongoing Wildfire Retreat, the Holy Spirit added another layer to the promise. He said that God will multiply your channels.

God will multiply your channels!

I urge all Blissfuls everywhere to connect with these living words. You are beloved of God. He loves you more than you can ever imagine. And He will take good care of you this year.

But we need to believe.
Thankfully, we have the Holy Spirit to help us believe.
So, I pray right away that the Holy Spirit Himself will help you believe these words that I’m declaring to you. I pray that through His power at work in you, you will partake in God’s nature of abundance.
In Jesus name.

Don’t Limit God!
