Be Persistent in Doing Good

We do not want you to become lazy, but to imitate those who through faith and patience inherit what has been promised.
~Hebrews 6:12

The promises that God has made to you will all come to pass. However, you must learn to wait for them to manifest. It is an established principle of God, so you don’t have a choice.

All the panic in the world will not cause the blessings to manifest immediately. All the “God answer me now!” prayers will not make any difference. Sacrificing your house, giving out all your money, sowing different kinds of seeds in church will not remove the waiting period. Your hard work and wisdom will not eliminate the need for patience, because it is through faith and patience that you inherit the promise.

There’s a promise in front of you. It is sure. It is certain. God is faithful, He will not fail you. But you must learn to wait. You must learn to endure. You must learn to walk through the rocky terrain. You must persist through the difficulties that you encounter on the path to realizing your dreams.

“To those who by persistence in doing good seek glory, honour and immortality, he will give eternal life”.
~ Romans 2: 7

I’d like to encourage you today to be persistent in doing good. Don’t quit just because you hit a rock. Don’t give up on your dreams because your present circumstances are not inspiring. Be tenacious and you will get to your glorious destination, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Memory Verse:

Ephesians 3:16
“I pray that out of his glorious riches He may strengthen with power through His spirit in your inner being…”

Prayer

Lord, help me to be persistent in doing good. May I imitate those who through faith and patience inherit the promise, in Jesus’ name.
Amen.
