1 Corinthians 6:12 | NIV “Everything is permissible for me, but not everything is beneficial. Everything is permissible for me, but I will not be mastered by anything.”

We are free to do whatever we want in this life, but not everything we do can get us where we want to get to. Only the Holy Spirit knows who and where we ought to be, because He’s the one that made us. And only Him can make it happen for us.

To the degree that we are mastered by the Holy Spirit, and our values aligned with His, to that degree will we experience success and bliss.
