Acts 17:27 | NIV “God did this so that men would seek him and perhaps reach out for him and find him, though he is not far from each one of us.”
The Holy Spirit has two key reminders for you from today’s scripture. The first is that you were created to seek Him, and the second is that He is not far from you.
God did not create a world where He would not be needed. His intent is that mankind would seek the genius behind creation’s magnificence, and through it, reach out to find Him. He wants to remain our fascination, and our very world.
But every now and then, like the prodigal son, our desires take away our focus on God. And like the father, God is also constantly looking out for us to be restored to intimacy with Him. He wants us to enjoy an unbroken fellowship with Him. May we not keep Him waiting forever. May you be graced among the remnant that’ll constantly acknowledge and reach out to Him. He’s not far from you. He’s within you!
