Pastor Sharon D Favour Pastor Sharon said so many inspiring things during her sermon today –– yes, I could hardly wait to share my notes from the sermon!
Everyone in Church was greatly motivated and mightily encouraged.
She promised to post a full summary of the sermon here within the week and I’m really looking forward to it.
In the meantime, here’s the distillate of her teaching from my notes.

Be Courageous and don’t Lose Your Faith.

Dreams fail, not because someone couldn’t but because someone quit.

What once roared at you will eventually shrink and vanish, if you are courageous and don’t lose your faith.

Fear = False Evidence Appearing Real.  (I really loved this one!)

Courage is the insistence to do right even when the crowd sees the wrong as ‘this is it’.

“Courage is the ability to stand up and speak; to sit down and listen.” ~ Winston Churchill

Fear paralyzes.

Your life shrinks or expands in direct proportion to your level of courage.

Faith doesn’t always make sense but it always makes miracles. (This too hit me real hard!)

Boldness has power, magic, and genius in it.  (This is probably my favorite from the entire sermon.)

Courage opens doors of blessings for you because fortune favours the bold.

Courage preserves the destiny of others. (She explained that when we dare to step out in boldness to obey God’s instructions and pursue our dreams, other people’s lives are made the better for it.)

Courage guarantees deliverance for others.

(I was absolutely fascinated by her closing remarks!)

“Your courage and boldness excites God.”
~ Pastor Sharon D Favour

Courage requires boldness. The righteous is bold as a lion.God is the Lion of Judah. It really does take constantly working on oneself to be bold and courageous;through divine aid by God.He helps us to conquer and not be inhibited by our fears.Courage is therefore a great christian tool which Senior Pastor Sharon has inspired me to harness to the maximum.May God continue to grant her infinite wisdom!!!

I also understood that courage is the number one asset of saving souls~
If you’re not courageous, just know that you’re not adding to the kingdom of God. It’s time to be courageous; it’s time to be bold. Thank you Pastor Favour..

I was blessed with the message as well. I also was made to understand that the battles of life are first won in the mind because the spiritual controls the physical. This means that the exercise of faith/courage starts internally.
