Accommodating Foreigners

EZEKIEL‬ ‭47:23‬ ‭NLT‬‬ | “THESE FOREIGNERS ARE TO BE GIVEN LAND WITHIN THE TERRITORY OF THE TRIBE WITH WHOM THEY NOW LIVE. I, THE SOVEREIGN LORD, HAVE SPOKEN!”

How do you treat foreigners or people you don’t know? With contempt, disregard or a general nonchalant attitude. Or, are you sensitive, mindful of the truth that some have entertained angels unknowingly? (Hebrews 13:2 NLT)

Preserving your space is very important but it must not be at the expense of God’s express instruction and desire that we treat foreigners with love, dignity and respect. This is essential to note because the absence of this fruit of the spirit has cost many people and nations greatly. It’s therefore time to put a stop to the negative cycle.

Receive heightened sensitivity from the Holy Spirit so you can discern what He wants from you per time in relation to foreigners, which may include random acts of kindness to people you don’t know. Be empowered to desire His Word as the one and only treasure of your heart. Bliss be with you.
