A Life Without Regrets.

Is it really possible to live a life without regrets? Well, with God all things are possible. So I would think yes, it is possible. Which brings me to the next question: How do you live a life without regrets?

In this article I will look at a few things from scripture to explore this idea- “a life of no regrets”.

Ecclesiastes‬ ‭10:15‬ ‭NIV‬‬| “The toil of fools wearies them; they do not know the way to town.”

This to me defines a life of regrets. Making foolish choices and being weighed down by them in turn making one weary. The problem is foolishness.

Proverbs 16:25| “There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way to death.”

‭‭Here is another example of a life of regret. I think the above scripture is talking about ones own understanding or intentions. It seems like the right thing to do but it keeps giving you results that are not favorable to you. The problem here is your own way.

So if your foolishness and your own way are the problems. Then what would be the solution?

Jeremiah‬ ‭6:16‬ | “This is what the Lord says: “Stand at the crossroads and look; ask for the ancient paths, ask where the good way is, and walk in it, and you will find rest for your souls. But you said, ‘We will not walk in it.’”

‭‭

Psalms 16:11| “You make known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand.”

‭‭

Now the above verses are an example of a life without regrets. A life of rest, joy, and pleasure! It’s all possible by the grace and help of the Spirit. He is our Guide in this life to show us the good way.

Today, surrender your will and your way to Him. Ask Him to show you the good way and to make known the path of life to you.

In Jesus Name!
