Install these 8 Thought-Filters Today

If you are in Christ, the realities of your personal finances have nothing to do with who is president, nor with the party in power. It actually has nothing to do with the country that you are living in. You come from the Father, and your realities are decided by the Father; don’t think like the rest of the world.

Your business is safe. Your family is safe. Your future is safe. Your prosperity is secured. You are blessed. You are favoured. You are not going down; you are going up. Listen: There is only one direction for your life, and that is up!

The Bible says:

“…you will be at the top, never at the bottom .”
~Deuteronomy 28:13

So don’t think like the world; don’t think in their ways.

Paul writing to the Philippians says:

“Finally brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable, if anything is excellent or praise-worthy; think about such things.”
~Philippians  4:8

He is giving you some sort of filter for your thoughts. So if you want to think about something regarding someone or yourself, your future, your situation,your plans, you have to subject it to these eight thought filters:

  1. Is it true?
  2. Is it noble?
  3. Is it right?
  4. Is it pure?
  5. Is it lovely?
  6. Is it admirable?
  7. Is it excellent?
  8. Is it praise-worthy?

For example, When the doctor tells you that you’re going to die because of a disease, you ask, is it true? And truth is decided by the word of God. You don’t accept that thought , because it’s not true. The truth is that in Jesus you are healed.

“Hey! I’m broke.” Is that true? Are you really broke? God’s word says, ‘My God shall supply all your needs.’ ‘The Lord is my Shepherd I shall not want.’ I can’t ever be broke. ‘Being broke’ shouldn’t be in your dictionary.

You have to filter your thoughts.

From today, resolve to think only thoughts that are true, noble, right, pure, lovely, admirable, excellent, and praise-worthy.
