The Power To Succeed Comes From God

“I was young and now I am old, yet I have never seen the righteous forsaken or their children begging bread. They are always generous, and lend freely; their children will be blessed. Turn from evil and do good; then you will dwell in the land forever. For the Lord loves the just and will not forsake his faithful ones. They will be protected forever…”
~Psalm 37:25-28

There’s a whole lot it takes to succeed in life. The power to succeed comes from God. And the blessings that come to those who use worldly wealth to express their value for God are not just financial. Their lives are filled with the favour of God which helps them to succeed where others have failed.

Zeal is a gift. The drive to pursue is a gift. An unrelenting drive to pursue a goal is a gift, because there are many people who can’t pursue their goals successfully. There are folks who can’t succeed at anything because they lack the drive to do so.

A sound mind is a gift from God. To have a right order of priorities is a gift from God.

The strength to work is from God. The energy to passionately pursue your dream comes from God.

The wisdom to execute and succeed also comes from God.

Knowledge comes from God.

Ideas come from God.

These are things that God can give to the generous; it is not necessarily money. When these blessings attend your life, you step out right there and become phenomenal. You become a wonder to your world.

Where do you think that wisdom came from? Where do you think that direction came from? Where do you think that the distinction of life comes from? Where do you think that the peace of God comes from?

And besides, who do you think makes your effort work?

God’s word says:

“Unless the Lord builds the house, its builders labor in vain. Unless the Lord watches over the city, the watchmen stand guard in vain.”
~Psalm 127:1

It’s possible to start toiling from now till the next five years and not have a single breakthrough. Recognize today that the power to succeed comes from God, and be faithful to Him in every aspect of your walk with Him.

Memory Verse:
Psalm 127:1
“Unless the Lord builds the house, its builders labor in vain. Unless the Lord watches over the city, the watchmen stand guard in vain.”

Prayer:
Heavenly Father, I understand today that the power to succeed comes from You. Thank You for all Your blessings in my life. May I continually express my gratitude and allegiance to You through cheerful giving, in Jesus’ name.
