I don’t teach that if you don’t give tithe to God, He won’t bless you. To believe that God won’t bless you unless you pay tithe to Him is to believe a lie. God knows His responsibilities. Do you pray for air to breathe? Do you pray for the rain to fall? Do you pray for the sun to shine? These things happen because God has set them up.
“…that you may be sons of your Father in heaven. He causes His sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous.”
~Matthew 5:45
However, if the only blessings in your life are blessings others can get too, or blessings others can pay for and get, then you really don’t have any idea what it means to be blessed, and to be a blessing. There is something called the distinction of the righteous.
“And you will again see the distinction between the righteous and the wicked, between those who serve God and those who do not.”
~ Malachi 3:18
If what you’re getting is what every man on the street is getting, then what you’re getting is basically the crumbs that fall off the master’s table. The distinction of the righteous is the favour of God which He bestows on those who have expressed their value for Him through cheerful and generous giving.
“I was young and now I am old, yet I have never seen the righteous forsaken or their children begging bread. They are always generous, and lend freely; their children will be blessed. Turn from evil and do good; then you will dwell in the land forever. For the Lord loves the just and will not forsake his faithful ones. They will be protected forever…”
~Psalm 37:25-28
I want to encourage you to tithe faithfully to God. From the provisions He has already supplied to you, express quality worship and allegiance to Him. Let God know that you recognize that all you have came from Him by cheerfully and faithfully giving your tithes to Him, under all circumstances, and according to His word.
“Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much, and whoever is dishonest with very little will also be dishonest with much.”
~Luke 16:10
Don’t be a foolish person, don’t be stupid; religion is not faithfulness. There are things that matter. God is interested in knowing how you handle the little that He gives you. I encourage you today to enter into a personal resolve that you will never ever fail to give a tithe of your earnings to God. Tell God, “I will never fail to tithe to you; even if I die doing it! As long as You gave it to me, and it came into my hand, I will give You a tithe, come what may.”
Make that resolution today, and Your walk with God will soar to greater heights.
Memory Verse:

Heavenly Father, I will never fail to tithe to you; even if I die doing it! As long as You gave it to me, and it came into my hand, I will give You a tithe, come what may, in Jesus’ name.
